The Pub — Restaurant in Squaw Grove Township

My husband and I have had horrible service at this place. Our first experience was in January- went in, sat down - 25 min later still nothing. No one came to take a drink order let alone a food order which was the purpose of our visit. We got up and walked out. We decided to give them a second chance again last night (6months later). While the waitress did take a drink and food order only because she happened to be standing there when we walked in, the service was horrid. It took 20 min to get our drinks, another 30 to get anyone’s attention for a refill and then the food finally came an hour after we initially arrived and was cold and missing the sides it was supposed to come with. Again, no service to even request the check. I had to walk up to the wait staff to get the bill so we could get the heck out of this place. The table next to us said the same. We watched 3 waitresses stand behind the bar chit chatting with each other, playing on their phones, etc the entire time we were there. There were 2 patrons that came in during this debacle, sat at a table and got up and walked out 10 min later because they were not greeted nor served. Horrendous and there won’t be...

Well we go there often and Monday night was different except all the cooks had quit days before and the owner was in the kitchen with a limited menu, but food was good service good. People just don't want to work anymore and this is going to be happening more often than not. Shame all these good places will be short staffed and some will be unable to stay open. Hate to say it but sure hope it don't happen to the pub. And let's just take a minute to say Well are those of you that voted Happy? That this is happening to hard workers who own business's prices are rising, gas prices are causing increase in shipping for all businesses and that trickles down to the customer!! My Hubby and I hit the good Ole Brown Pub every now and then and yet, there she issss Msss Amerrric.. 👑, okay, back on track 😅 Trina, LOVE her!!! I honestly don't think I have ever been in a small town like bar and the bartender literally knew just about every single patron that walked in the door, and already cracking that beer before they've chosen their Sweet Spot 😅 She is the kindest, sweetest, cutest and most attentive bartender, honestly, you'll love her too! The food is absolutely worth your time, so unbelievably DELISH! We have been eating here for years and have never had a bad meal or appetizer! Do NOT pass...
