Whenever our family drives east we always make it a point to stop by DiCarlo's for pizza. This unique style of pizza is delicious. Layering freshly grated mozzarella on a freshly baked crust with a hot tomato sauce creates a pizza we have never experienced anywhere else. The warm freshly melted cheese adds a creamy profile that no other style of pizza can offer. WOW! Our family is from Steubenville, OH, home of the original Dicarlos pizza. This location REALLY knows the secrets of delicious pizza! Way better than Steubenville and Weirton locations. We now live in KY, and stopped by to pick up a tray upon the recommendation of a high school friend. it was delicious! Highly recommend the Belmont, OH location. It may seem like a hole in the wall restaurant, but this little mom and pop pizza joint has huge potential. Their quality is some of the best I've had in a while and they were incredibly friendly which seems to be a lost art in a customer service based industry. I ordered a vegetarian calzone and their dinner salad. The calzone was legendary, season perfectly and baked to perfection. And the salad was stuffed with all the best fresh veggies.
