Birdie’s Pizza & Garden Bar — Restaurant in St. Joseph

Thursday night, we had the pleasure of dining at the newly opened Birdie's Pizza and Garden Bar located in The House Food and Tap. Despite arriving during the busy dinner rush, we were able to find a table quickly. The ordering process was seamless; we scanned the QR code to order our food and grabbed drinks from the tap wall.

We decided to try the Neapolitan-style Ricardo Limon pizza from Birdie's, paired with a Vanilla Porter and Cabernet Sauvignon. The food was ready for pickup in about 10 minutes, and it was absolutely delicious. The pizza had unique flavors, and the crust had the perfect crunch.

This is hands down some of the best pizza I have ever had. They offer a variety of italian style pizzas and salads! The crust is cooked to perfection, topped with a beautiful blend of savory sauce and toppings. I have had a bite of almost each pizza and none disappoint! They have the classics and more unique pizzas - my personal favorite being the bacon and brussels pizza! The flavors and textures create a light easy to eat pizza that leaves you feeling light and satisfied - unlike a traditional pizza. But even the cheese pizza has my 13 year old begging to drive the 2 hour round trip to get it.

Best pizza in the area, by far. They use high-quality ingredients and it shows! Myself and my family are pizza snobs and we all agree. My husband even said it tastes like his mom’s pizza crust, which is a huge compliment. The sauce and cheese just set it off that much more. So far, I have had their Margherita pizza many times and now have also tried the Ricardo Limon. Fantastic and unique combo! My mom and I loved it. I’ve also had their cranberry goat cheese salad and really loved that too. Can’t wait to try the caprese cup and their chocolate...
