I stopped in to Eddie's after hearing about his shop on the STL Donut & Coffee Tour YouTube channel. I got there right when they opened and bought a dozen.

I heard he had one of the best apple fritters in the city, and I was not disappointed. They were the perfect combo of crispy and chewy, topped with delicious glaze that permeated every nook and crannie. It's definitely one of the best around!

The old fashioned was also a highlight. It was perfect for dunking in my coffee. The sprinkled cake donut was outstanding, as was the glazed jelly.

Absolutely love this donut shop! Today I stopped in earlier then I have ever gotten here and I got a few donuts I never knew they had (I even filmed an episode of the STL Donut Tour here back in February!)
