Grand Grill — Restaurant in St. Louis

We dined out at the Grand Grill last Sunday and this is my experience. I ordered a gyro and fries. My partner ordered a t-bone steak. His daughter ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger and fries she had no complaints. My partner's steak was not your usual sized t-bone. He complained about the size and wasn't too happy. He said the size was that of a cheaper flank steak and included no bone at all. He stated it was a portion of an actual t-bone. They both said their food was good although the steak wasn't what was expected. Well, for my food I was not so happy. Upon opening my food container, I noticed a clear glove between the gyro and fry wrapping. I'm unsure if it was put their own purpose, but it mind boggles me that someone's glove came off their hand while preparing my meal and they never noticed. Thankfully my gyro was wrapped and I could still eat it and I ate a few of the fries. I was very disappointed by finding this glove in my food container. I gave them a 2 stars because the food was tasty, but we'll never go here again considering what was found in my container.

As far as the customer service, it was ok. It was a rather crowded place and no one was practicing social distancing. We were the only ones with masks on. Our wait was about 20 minutes and we went to wait in the car fo part of the time until we started hearing gun shots. We then went to wait back inside. The establishment is not wheelchair accessible. There were many people hanging out outside that gave the look of an unsafe environment. This was my first and last visit to this eatery. The food wasn't too bad as I said, but the glove in my container is still a mystery.

THE WORST FISH/CHICKEN I EVER HAD IN STL AND THAT chicken has no seasoning and was extra dry. It was crispy but it ain't golden yellow must be using old oil bc that's how it tasted. The catfish was mush like the fries in the middle it wasn't hearty or meaty literally fell apart when I picked it up and so did the breading and they literally gave me baby sized gizzards. No way to request that it was crispy when I ordered it but that should have been a given and they don't give pickles or onions but that's okay got my credits back from door dash and I will NEVER eat here again and you should save your money go to Chicago or New York grill instead where you can get...

This was a good place for me to eat but the cashier need to be fired , I called my order in and when I came she literally looked back and said I’m sorry we don’t have your order without checking the tickets , I left and came back in 5 min later and the cook told me it was ready 🤦🏾‍♂️ After I got my food the cashier did not tell me it came with a drink she let me walk out til I noticed the problem .
