EAST AFRICA GROCERY — Local services in St. Louis

My wife and I walked in and were pretty pleased to see giant bags of Mbeya rice. She's from TZ and we both have enjoyed that rice plenty of times on trips to visit her family. But this was either the worst Mbeya rice I've ever seen or a total rip off in an Mbeya rice bag. My wife had to spend 30 minutes sorting through the rice and half of the grains were broken in half and it was full of stones. One of our guests almost chipped a tooth! Save yourself the effort and buy from Schnucks or Jay's down the street. This may or may not actually be rice from Mbeya but it's definitely extremely poor quality...

My dear friends cooked me a meal with rice from this store. As they were cooking, we kept looking at the rice, wondering why there were so many grains of rock and dirt in it. Despite their efforts to clean this garbage rice, I did almost chip a tooth on a grain of sand that was in the rice. I would say zero stars but one star was the lowest option...
