This was previously a 5 star rating, after receiving a pizza for pickup and driving it two blocks to my house the entire list of topping were crammed to the front of the box, when I called and asked the young lady for a replacement and she informed me that no manager was on duty so I would have to wait until the morning, I insisted because this was my dinner for the evening and she put on who she says was a male coworker, he informed me he was the one who cut the pizza and put it in the hot box so he assures me it wasn't on his end, I explain I literally live two blocks and did NOT mishandle the pizza, I drive up while still on the phone because at this point I need him to see that it is inedible. He sees it, reiterates that it must have been my fault but he'll go ahead and make me a new one I just need to go wait out front (which is in a very dangerous neighborhood mind you) I ask if he is a manager and he says he is I then ask why I was told there wasn't one on duty and I would have to wait until the morning to resolve the issue and receive a pizza, he says he instructed the girl to say that because the general manager usually handles these things, I inform him that this entire experience has been an extremely poor display of customer service to which he replies he also disagrees with that. I'll be contacting corporate to file a complaint for waiting and hour in an extremely dangerous neighborhood and being accused of being a liar. Read moreToday, Imo's broke my heart. My father-in-law was singing their praises over dinner — so much so that he actually went to order a pizza AFTER we just had pizza from a competitor. He was nostalgic about the 50 years of patronage he had given them. It was all lost in a single phone call to Brianna.
To be clear; this isn't hearsay.
I heard the whole exchange on speakerphone. Brianna was short, curt, unhelpful, condescending, and mean. Instead of looking for the easy path, i.e. taking a pizza order, she opted to be argumentative about the number he was calling from, unfriendly when he asked about the specials, impatient as he tried to get her the information she had asked for, and otherwise doing everything in her power to not take his order.
She succeeded.
Rather than risk the call with Brianna resulting in molested food, he opted to leave the order incomplete and drive to the restaurant. When he told the manager his story, the manager basically shrugged and said, "oh well."
Think about this...

Read moreDefinitely not the best Imo's to represent St. Louis, so I wouldn't reccomend tourist or locals to try this location. I'm not sure if they are franchised, but I've given them so many chances to prove me wrong. Typically there are long delivery times which can be understandable given the time an day but I've also done several pickups they weren't ready in a timely manner hr or so wait just for that. The staff (as a whole) are borderline a$* holes for lack of better words and are either lazy or simply dont care . There seems to be a lack of pride in their work, no great work ethic. I dont want to list every problem I've ever had regarding this location. I'm making this post in hope that the owner would view this and possibly relay the msg to their team and attempt to change it. I'd rather drive to another location 20 mins away than take another chance with this one. At least that way I'd receive quality food and service.
