Carniceria Latino Americana — Local services in St. Louis

I have watched this store grow, probably over the last 10 years! They usually have carnitas and menudo on the weekends, sometimes even handmade tortillas! They even have a ramp to the front door, that they never had before. All kinds of spices, a variety of dried chillies, a small selection of produce. There are some items that I think are significantly pricier than the average grocery store, but I couldn't tell you that it isn't warranted. I know they have a lot of imported goods, so I'm not sure if that could contribute to the price difference. I believe they also have check cashing and money wiring, though I've never used that service in this store. I will say, if you want the carnitas, you need to get there earlier in the morning, before stuff disappears! And the menudo!...

I feel I was single out so I was waiting in the check cash line about 10 people were in front of me they cash 4 people check mind you i was the only non Mexican there so after about 15mins of waiting they come get me out of line take me to the front of store look at my check and tell me they don’t cash my kind of check I will never return to this place nor recommend to anyone I only rated it 1 star because otherwise you couldn’t leave a review I rate it 0...

They take extra money when cashing your check and when they are supposed to be open they are not fully open and they tell you they will be here soon and 20 minutes later still not here. And rude when you ask questions and have headphones in when at work. The place has gotten worse I have been coming here every 2 weeks to cash my check and they had me move aside to cash other people cash because I'm not Mexican and charged me 8 dollars to cash a 400...
