Joe-Jo's Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in St. Louis

My cousin told me about this place, therefore, I wanted to see for myself. On my first visit I ordered a shrimp and chicken wing combo plate. My two sides were collard greens and fried okra. I thought they were going to give me wingettes like most restaurants do. When I got home, to my surprise they had given me 5 whole wings and approximately 6 huge jumbo shrimp 🍤. My food was so delicious. I went back the next day and ordered a tripe sandwich. On Wednesday's they have tripe sandwiches for $5. It was amazing. The tripe was so tender, it melts in your mouth. I will definitely be going back. I'm going to introduce my friends and family to this restaurant. The prices are reasonable. The food wasn't overly seasoned. Kudos to you Joe Jo's Fish and Grill. Tried them for the 1st time today. Ordered jumbo shrimp, collard greens w/smoked Turkey, hush puppies (4). Also ordered their jack filet special which came with 2 filets and fries.

The shrimp are definitely jumbo and not over battered. They were butterflied and delicious. The collards were typical, hush puppies were lacking and not worth getting. They were hard and dry. The jack and frieswere typical.

This got a 4 star rating because it tasted as if everything including fries and collards had sugar in the seasoning. Which I do not like. I would visit them again to try...

Tried Joe-Jo’s fish and chicken a few days ago for the first time and I was not disappointed. The wings were fried fresh to order and I tried 3 different seasonings (regularly fried, sweet hot, and lemon pepper) and the seasonings were all so good. The sides I ordered were greens and spaghetti and they were very good as well.
