Firehouse 282 — Restaurant in St. Louis

My husband and I heard of the Firehouse 282 business and because we both love fish we decided to go Sat Dec 9, 2024 at about 3 oclock. We entered and sat at the bar. Two females were behind the bar, a song was on the lite complexion female glanced at us as she sung and jirated. The second lady had her back to us, so she didn't see us. As the THIRD song began to play, I looked at my husband as he had crossed his arms, and I said shouldn't we have been waited on by now, he replied lets go. We received no greeting, no menu, no how can I help you, after being glanced at several times. What we did get was singing and jiration. Husband said never again I will not be back. Called In the order, took my time getting their, still waiting on food ,order was made twenty minutes before, I live five minutes away, was greeted by the owner/ cook, when I entered the restaurant, Quote " you here for the Buffalo ", me " yes" him well it will be around 5 more minutes, what is the point of calling in a order if you're not going to have it ready for pickup, will not waste my time again, thanks for the disservice, waitress too, very unprofessional, so sorry to say. Visited this spot due to previous reviews of how good the food is...unfortunately, not for us...maybe the regular cook was on vacation...no need to go into detail...we will give it another try at a later time due to the great service and hospitality, along with a great atmosphere..maybe then we can experience the great food that is always mentioned in...
