King's Fried Rice — Restaurant in St. Louis

The taste has really gone down. No matter how many packets of sauce you put in, it's just not the same any more. It's like the old cook passed and the new cook doesn't know the family secret recipe. The establishment has ALWAYS been filthy, but I've never seen a roach crawling around. But now that the taste has changed and the place is filthy, I think I'll find me someplace else. I grew up in St. Louis and I don't live there any more. The convenience of Kings being not too far from the highway has allowed my family to place an order and get back on the highway and eat our food on the drive and have plenty leftover by the time we get to our destination. Now I have to find another restaurant. What happened Kings? Even the crab rangoons are small, very little cream cheese and are like fried crackers....

Food was great and reasonable priced. Yes, it's in the hood - you may only want to go during the daytime. The woman was very rude. I asked for a description of the St Paul Sandwich since I had never heard of it. She snapped "its a sandwich" I ordered the Duck St Paul and special fried rice. The fried rice was very good, but not necessarily better than what I can get at home. The St Paul Sandwich was incredible. Before leaving St Louis tomorrow I may try the St Paul from Canton House - a half block from King's Fried Rice. I expect their food to be equally as good and hopefully...

I love their St. Pauls they are huge! But when i was here i ordered a Shrimp St. Paul amongst other things and i was giving the wrong sandwich with my order. Got all the way home and not Shrimp it was supposed to be Chicken the woman said when i took it back but i have yet to taste or see Chicken that was tht light n a Chinese restaurant or my home for tht matter. But it was replaced with the right sandwich a good Shrimp. But now i cant eat Chicken because of that visit. So who won here? I dont know yet....but i do know not to order anything but Shrimp...
