Pop's Blue Moon — Restaurant in St. Louis

Perfect little neighborhood 'dive bar'. Don't go looking for 'craft cocktails' or a 30 page wine list. Don't go for food, either. And make SURE that you bring cash: no debit/credit cards taken as payment. But if you're looking for an alternative to the crowded bars where your feet are stepped on and drinks are spilled on you, this place is one to consider. Local acts play there on the weekends, and depending on who is playing and the position of the moon and stars the place might be packed or you might be the only people there. Either way, it's definitely 'cozy'....

I've been to a whole host of South City dive bars in the last 15 years, and I'd never been to Pop's Blue Moon. It was specifically avoided, as I thought it was some sort of annex to Pop's in Sauget. This error in thought caused me to miss out on what I'm sure would have been many fun and interesting evening's at PBM.

We went and checked out a socially distanced sidewalk show, which was just the right thing for a lazy evening out (for the first time in months). Drinks were stiff and reasonably priced, I'll definitely keep my eye out for...

Great small and comfortable bar located in The Hill. An old Italian neighborhood from the 1880's. Great customer service and family style bar. Excellent music by Fleetwood & Family tonight! The atmosphere is comfortable and well lit.

Enjoy a great selection and good people! Seltzer, ciders, whiskeys, vodkas, all the goods available. Great pricing and lava lamps! Live music available on weekends.
