ShowTime Bar and Grill — Restaurant in St. Louis

I didn’t want to give this type of review because I really try to give everybody a chance. The place in general as a bar was very cool great atmosphere and people were having fun and no drama. That’s excellent. If you’re going for the food you just have to be reminded that number one it is hood food and I didn’t quite know that number two I wanted a turkey burger I get there no turkey that’s the only thing that brought me to a place like that but I ended up ordering just a Smashburger and a cheese fry I weigh a total of one full hour for a cheeseburger burnt on regular bread I guess you can call it Texas toast, cause it is a little thick and cold french fries with no cheese after sitting there for an hour, I got home and I was absolutely livid because I didn’t even have anybody in front of me and it took them 30 years to make honestly something I could have made in my own kitchen. I was told this place had some good food, but that’s the problem when you’re not consistent you think you can give your best one day and then give zero effort the next. Okay, so my partner and I went to Showtime Bar and Grill for lunch, and honestly, I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong. I ordered the "chicken with Mac-n-Cheese and spinach and what arrived was a culinary catastrophe. The chicken wasn’t seasoned and taste horrible, the mac was horrible the taste was awful. I even tried using salt and pepper and that didn’t even help. Oh and next the spinach was an oiled out wilted mess. My friend got the turkey chop, which was so dry he couldn’t even sallow it barely could cut it. The service was very slow we ordered at 1:15 and didn’t receive our food until 2:05. Honestly, I’m thinking like I pray it’s good especially since I had to wait that long. Got back to the job and opened my plate they used a compartment plate with all of the food touching my chicken was wet from the oily spinach, the other chicken was covered in mac n cheese. It was a bad experience I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, unless they enjoy overpriced, poorly made food. Avoid at all costs! First and last time patronizing...

The first time I went there, it was in the day the food was good and the service was good. The second time I went there it was at night .the young man in there was hostile towards me from jump Street. He and the bar tender had a debate about serving me until I said that I'd eat on the patio and when he bring me the food. There was no napkins and one tiny paper cup of ketchup and he was just rude the whole time I was in there. I do alot of work for the people on north Broadway and I won't recommend this place to any of them. The young man with the attitude problems took alot of paying customers from the owner. It's all the truth....
