I consider myself a connoisseur of Taco Bells. With a vegetarian wife, fast food options are limited but Taco Bell always hits the spot and has great options for her. She loves the spicy potato soft tacos and vegetarian combo boxes. The kids love the cheesy fiesta potatoes. I ordered on the app like I always do (20500+ points) and let them know I had a mobile order at the speaker. I was immediately told to pull forward. At the window I got a bag with some food and then the window shut in my face...clearly food was missing and I never got my two drinks. After a few minutes of looking puzzled they finally opened the window and asked what was missing. When we said drinks and food they asked what drinks....when I started making food they said they didn't have potatoes. They also with an attitude said it wasn't their fault because they on drive thru and not line so it wasn't their fault. I eventually went in and explained the issue. I was missing 2 cheesy fiesta potatoes, 2 spicy potato tacos, a beef chalupa supreme, and a beef stacker. I told some young kid how to resolve the problem...get my missing food....do 2 black beans and rice to replace the fiesta potatoes (yes I'm taking a loss here and will have to go to another Taco Bell to get my kids their potatoes), do soft tacos with refried beans instead of meat and get my stacker and chalupa. I was then giving a bag with the stacker and chalupa and that was all. When I asked about the rest of the food, they acted and confused and said they would need to speak to a manager (to give me food I ordered and paid for and was missing 🤔🤔🤔) I explained again (soft tacos with refried beans, black beans and rice)....or just start refunding me money, and they went ahead and started making food again. Eventually I got two soft tacos with black beans and not refried beans, as well as two black beans with shredded cheese (this isn't even an option on the menu....) I heard them say pintos and cheese, which is apparently black beans at this Taco Bell of untrained employees... I cut my losses and ended up with questionable food prep and went to another Taco Bell who had no problem quickly getting our potato based food prepared and handed out the window.
PLEASE do the Taco Bell nation (and the world...) a favor and shut this Taco Bell down and fire all...
Read moreUpon arrival at the neighborhood Taco Bell drive thru (3440 S.Kingshighway), I noticed a rather frail, destitute looking man standing at the speaker board trying to place an order. I heard the man telling an employee that he did not own a car,he was diabetic, and just wanted something to eat. When he realized he wouldn't be served without having a vehicle to drive thru, he asked the person in the car behind him if he gave them the money, would they please order his food. The person inside Taco Bell told the driver they would not accept an order for that man. The man was obviously upset and as he was walking away a taco bell employee walked outside and told the man they were calling the police on him. Immediately something told me that this guy needed a break. Something strongly told me to help him. As I passed the man I told him to wait in front of the restaurant and that I would order him some food. I proceeded to the drive up speaker and that is when a taco bell employee asked me if I was planning on ordering some food for that man. I replied " I'm ordering a lot of food, why?" They said " if you order him anything at all, we will write down your license plate # and we will refuse to serve you in the future. I'm just telling you upfront so you know." Needless to say I was at a near loss for words and very upset that taco bell was so intent on refusing a human being and a paying customer food! I ordered my food plus 4 extra soft tacos for the man. I pulled out of the drive thru, pulled over and gave the man the food. He asked what he owed me. I told him that he owed me nothing ; I hoped his night gets better, and that I hope he'd be blessed. He said " I can't believe they'd refuse to serve a veteran. Thank you ma'am. You be blessed.".... The sheer, and utter disregard people have for one another in this world, particularly the less fortunate weighs heavy on my heart. I will not be back in the future. I refuse to support this type...
Read moreThis location has terrible customer service. It seems to have gotten exponentially worse with Covid-19 and the dining room closing down. Despite this fact I go here quite often... Literally 9 out of 10 times my order is made incorrectly and/or so poorly I am unable to really enjoy the food. I'm not talking about ordering complicated things either, I usually just simply ask for no tomatoes, that seems to be too much for them to handle. I've included a picture with tomatoes all over my most recent order.
This is so much worse than just not being able to follow simple directions and is becoming pretty apparent that no one really cares. The other big complaint I have is hard tacos where the beefy bottom falls out in the wrapper. I've included a picture of that as well... I spoke to a regional representative from Taco Bell inside the S. Kingshighway location long before the days of Covid -19 and he didn't really seem to care at all about my feedback. I can't wait until restaurants open back up for normal service and I can stop going places like this where they just don't care.
When I got to the drive-thru to pay for my order I had to ask the worker to repeat the total price for my order three times because every time he would say it he would turn his head the other direction and I would not be able to understand the words he was speaking. This just seems like basic fast food service training to me. Total let...
