I just moved nearby and was looking for a new Chinese food spot. St. Louis is hit and miss on Chinese food, with mostly a lot of misses. I was super happy that the food was terrific at New China! I had the Kung Pao chicken lunch special. Came with fried rice and an egg roll. It was the best I've had in the area. The crab rangoon and fried dumplings were on point. 10/10, I'll be back!

Got takeout for dinner after friends said this is their favorite local Chinese food. I got the pepper chicken and beef lo mein, my husband got the general tso’s and we split the crab rangoons. Everything was fantastic. Would probably order the General Tso’s spicy next time. Rangoons were well stuffed and on the sweet side, which I like. This is going to be our new go-to for takeout!

Simply the best. Freshest ingredients. Most flavorful sauces. Definitely the friendliest. They know which order is mine when I walk in the door and I leave with enough food to have more than one meal. They’re amazing and I want them to live forever! And they’ll give you suggestions so you can find the best value on the menu. It’s well worth it every time.

I was very excited to try this restaurant after reading the reviews, unfortunately my experience tonight did not live up to the reviews. The service when I went to the location was pleasant, I ordered the General Tso's Chicken dinner with regular fried rice. When I returned home I noticed that I had Pork Fried rice, so I called to notify the restaurant assuming there had been a mistake, but before I finished the sentence the man on the phone was telling at me that he wouldn't exchange it because he asked me if I wanted Pork fried rice. I explained to him that I can not eat pork and knew I said plain fried rice because I wouldn't ever order rice with pork. He raised his voice saying no, he wasn't exchanging it and I told him Pork. I am very disappointed to know that as a customer who paid for a specific order that I didn't receive that I couldn't get a pint of plain rice so that I could eat the meal I had just paid for. I do not recommend this restaurant, seeing as how they do not value...

My friend and I both ordered the orange chicken combo for carryout and were very happy with both the fast service and the meal.

The combo includes an entree, fried rice and two crab rangoon. The orange chicken had tender and moist large pieces of chicken; the sauce was excellent with real orange rind though not very spicy and there was too much sauce. Next time I will remove the chicken from the carryout container to a separate dish to avoid some of the sauce.

The vegetarian fried rice was chock full of very fresh veggies though slightly bland so I added a little soy sauce and it was fabulous.

The crab rangoon were huge, crispy and delicious; they were full of real cream cheese so were more sweet than any I have had before and really good. Sauce is just not necessary for these.

The decor was very average, but incredibly clean! The carryout containers are plastic with a tight lid so there is no leakage and they can be saved and reused.

I will be returning to try...

Very gracious people run this restaurant. I had not been in before. I must admit I was expecting the usual run of the mill vegetarian rice I ordered a pint for lunch take out with a few insipid carrots and peas. Wow ,what I got was any thing but....As the picture shows on the colorful paper plate. Big chunks of a sorted veggies mushroom, onion, broccoli, water, chestnut, baby corn for a start. I noticed something common to cooking in parts of Malaysia near Singapore (I lived in that area as a kid) ....a bit of tumeric thrown in while steaming the rice, coloring it yellow It gives a nice contrast on the plate and a boost to your system an anti Inflammitory spice. I was pleased that the cook elevated this simple dish by surprising me with the out of the Ordinary. I this restaurant takes this much care with a pint of Vegetarian fried rice. I can't wait to see what they do with Singapore Noodles(rice noodles) and other dishes. I will...
