I did not know what to expect as I was attending a show with a friend. I really loved how straightforward everything was. They had a cooler with water you could refill your own cup. I was served my wine out of a can, which sounds kind of not great but it is because the wine is never corked like it might be another bar situations where the drinkers mostly order beer or liquor. And I got two glasses out of it for the $10. That was a deal! They had lots of options available for drinking. You can have your own food brought in as they do not offer food service. Everyone was super nice and welcoming and friendly. I loved the decor and the stage area was neat and nice. It also had good sound for the setup. A really nice little bonus as they put phone chargers at the lamps on the booths in the bar area. Great idea! A little thing that...
Read moreThis unassuming little bar on gravois has something for everyone. Really! As you walk in there is a short walkway dividing a board game, video game and couches area on the right, from a pinball and arcade area on the left. A breath of fresh air, we could actually afford to have a good time! It felt like we were at a Dive version of the Duck Room.
My only complaint is how small the back patio is. You can't go out there for fresh air - inundated by smoke. An option is to go out front for fresh air, but then you might get approached by non-bar randos. That's worse than bar randos!
Thanks for a great night out, Heavy Anchor! I hope you host more and other...
