White Castle — Restaurant in St. Louis

When I say the service was RIDICULOUS it’s an understatement. Waiting in the drive through for an hour! NO ONE cancer outside to say there was a problem, that there was going to be a hell of a wait, nothing! Waited so long I decided I was just going to continue to wait on GP. Finally got to the window to pay and was told the register was not printing receipts (after you swiped my card) inquired as to what the hold up was and got a few chuckles, a few grins several “ion knows “ - s as I continued to press still waiting for the order the young girl offered that they were just so busy in the lobby, THEY WERE NOT. She offered a free drink but how about a complimentary meal??!!! After waiting an hour! And if they were that busy, you don’t clear the lobby at the cost of having customers sit in a drive thru for an hour. Otherwise just close the drive thru at that point. as long as I waited I foolishly expected that the order would surely be correct. So I drove off. BUT NOOOOOO. They got the order WRONG!!! Scratching this one...

I placed my order online last night at 6:20p.m. and the app said it would be ready at 6:37p.m. I stay 4 blocks away I arrive at 6:30p.m. to pay ! I wait 5 minutes at the counter for my order to be paid for ! Now it’s 6:35p.m. I’m thinking I’m about to get my food nope another 25minutes to wait while she gave the person in front of me her manager’s discount! No apology or accommodation for the additional wait ! What’s the sense in ordering ahead ? Then when you pull up there’s several unsavory characters by the door to get in and leave out! Then there’s so many flies in the dining area ! I also noticed the young man who was working drive thru/ front cash didn’t wash his hands he just put the really thin gloves on and started handling food very unsanitary ! I was there on May 27, 2023 Between the hours of 8am - 10am I'm a dasher 1st order was ready when I arrived. When I arrived for the 2nd order they was preparing it, while preparing othet customers orders in the drive through and the dining room. While waiting on that order I received another order. So i had to wait just a little bit longer. There was only 2 workers. They both was working the dining room and drive through. They got the customers out at a reasonable time. I commend them. They was working and didn't show any attitude. GREAT JOB!!!. I would like other restaurants to learn from them. Because other restaurants will lock their dining room and the drive through line will be so long and you waiting a long time to order and get your food. And they have a attitude.
