The Original Rich's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Stafford Township

We ordered a cake for my dad for his birthday which we called a couple days in advance. We asked for extra crunchies and frosting, meaning it was a specialty cake that needed to be made in advance, I know this because I previously worked here. The worker on the phone took our order but when we went to go pick it up she just gave us one of the premade cakes and put a little bit of frosting and crunchies in a small cup on the side. I find their service, as well as the ice cream, to be horrible in many different aspects. The managment was horrible and the owners, Haley and Hunter, treat their workers like trash. I've been forced to go to work even though I would inform them I was sick, I had gone to work with a high grade fever once, not only risking my own health but others who I'd come to contact with as well. My wife and I visited here this past weekend. It's a nice new location. Everything is clean and neat and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is on route 72 going westbound so it's perfect if you're coming off LBI and want a treat. I tried the cookie dough ice cream. It could have used more flavor and more cookie dough, but the ice cream was rich and creamy. I'll try a different flavor next time because I can't judge on only one flavor really. My wife got the peanut butter Oreo and she really loved it! They offer four different types of cones. I believe one of them being a waffle cone which I wish were made fresh on location but unfortunately they are not. But then again, not a lot of places make their own waffle cones. Chaotic and disorganized. Waited on line for 20 minutes with a number of other groups. A woman pulled into the lot, walked past everyone and got served almost immediately. Apparently they’ve decided to use a deli-style take a number system, but since it’s located near the counter where you order and there was a line out the door, the only people using it were the ones that got up to it right before they would have ordered anyway.
