Fusaro Pizza And Pasta Manahawkin — Restaurant in Stafford Township

Being in the service industry for over 40 yrs myself and my family owning restaurants in the local area, I have to admit when I am wrong the fact that they double charged my Debit Card and I had brought it to their attention for a simple transaction mistake i was greeted with being wrong and the owner assured me to wait till all the pending charges went through and I did I waited since September 1st till today the 6th when I got on the phone with the owner on Friday on a holiday weekend he assured me that the over charge will be taken care of it was I am not disputing that I am disputing that my card was run twice I called the bank. My Bank agreed with me that the card was run twice for 2 different amounts. 84.00 and 60.81 cents which over-draft my account. for the last 3 hours of back and forth the order clerk and the owner wanted to deny the fact there was a second charge when I have it here in black and white. I am furious that in this day and age the customer is no longer right and clerical error is made and am out 84 dollars till my bank being PNC bank takes care of this. I am sorry to say the food was great don't get me wrong I give them props however the service or on the phone service and or order taking was not. I will recommend that they look again cause there are no other pending charges to my account they were paid twice, someone pocketed the money. Enjoy the rest of your week cause I can not for the life of mine enjoy mine.

The food is decent (usually), but the customer service is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced! If you ever have an issue with your order, don’t expect them to make it right, because they absolutely will NOT! This is the second time I had an issue with an order at Fusaro’s in Manahawkin, and both times, they refused to do anything to rectify the situation. They delivered a burned pizza to me, when I called back to speak with someone, I was put on hold for several minutes, so I hung up! It was already about 7pm and I didn’t want the pizza redelivered that night anyway as it wouldn’t have arrived until 8pm or so! I figured I would call in the morning and just get credit, for the burned pizza, for a future order! I was wrong to assume that if I called the next morning, they would have the decency to still do the right thing. Manager says “we can only offer a refund or redeliver the same day, not the next day. You placed your order around 6pm, and that’s our busiest time. They probably just couldn’t get to the phone right away, you should have waited a couple more minutes or called again, we’re open til 9pm” But you should have never delivered a pizza that was burned in the first place!!!!! And even worse, you refuse to make it right!!!! I’ve ordered many, many times from this place and am appalled at how they treat their customers. It’s not just about a $20 pizza, but a matter of principle!!! Shame on...

For the price this food is completely below average. We ordered a large pie. 2 Sicilian slices. A grandma Slice. Gluten free pie. Broccoli rabe and pasta with vodka sauce. The only reason I’m given 2 stars instead of one is because the large regular pie was not the worst pizza I have ever eaten but the rest of the food was.

Delivery took 1.5 hours. Food arrived cold and on top of that was also terrible tasting. The Sicilian slice was basically just bread. The grandma should not be called a grandma slice. The broccoli rabe had more oil than broccoli. The gluten free pie, you shouldn’t sell Something you have never tasted before. Because if you tried your gluten free pie you would never sell this. Not even fully cooked. And my wife has had her share of gluten free pizzas and this tops it for the worst one to date. And before anyone shames the gluten free game. We have had some amazing gluten free pizzas before. To name drop Lenny’s in point pleasant kills it.

The pasta and vodka sauce was the worst tasting thing out of everything we ordered. Was sour and watery. My only thought is they didn’t give the vodka the chance to cook off. The bread that came with this meal could have been used to play jenga with. I honestly probably wouldn’t have cared so much if we didn’t pay $90 dollars for all this and receive our food 1.5 hours...
