Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Stafford

I am finally giving up on this location. I tend to come here just for their blizzards, but every time I come their billiards seem like they are already slightly melted. And I always ask for a lid while I’m placing my order, so that they know ahead of time before making it. I can’t eat it while I’m driving so I need one. There’s been several times that I ordered a blizzard, and they attempted to give me this somewhat melted blizzard with no lid, and then when I remind them that I’m supposed to have a lid, they hand me the lid and expect me to somehow put this lid over towering ice cream without making a mess in my car. Tonight, I asked for a lid ahead of time, like I always do, and the guy over the intercom tells me “Just ask for it when you get to the window” (which is contradicting what their store manager actually told me to do) but anyways…I thought they finally got it right, cause It had a lid on it before it was given to me, but then I got home, and saw the lid was barely on it, and I had a bunch of melted Ice cream in my cup holder. I don’t know why they struggle with putting lids on, and I don’t know why their ice cream isn’t solid enough. I never see them do the blizzard trick when they turn the cup upside down, and I think that’s because their ice cream would definitely...

AGAIN WENT TO THE SAME DQ AND GOT THE SAME LAME SERVICE. THEY SHOULD CHANGE MANAGEMEMT AS THIS ONE IS STILL HORRIBLE!!!! ASKED FOR A JR burger and asked what it came with, and they stated that it had mustard, and I clearly asked for no mustard, please. I get home, and not only do they put on one side but also on the other side. I called the store to speak with the manager, and the PERSON THAT ANSWERED could barely speak english and SAID NO MANAGERS, NO ONE HERE BYE, BYE, BYE... CALLED AGAIN AND they answered and then hung up!!!!

Horrible service! The dining area closed due to Covid, and the drive-thru attendant gave us the dipped cone without any gloves and chocolate dripping all over. My straw was all dirty of chocolate!! I think that young girl was high. I ordered a strawberry Sunday and I asked her, may I have some peanuts, thought they still added them like in the past and I guess she couldn't comprehend my question that she had to call a manager to tell me that is was i think around 26 cents more... the charge is not the issue, It was their lack of speedness for it being a fast food joint. Hamburger was packed so dirty, all of the mustard was in the wrapping. I'm never going to...

I must admit, the blizzards here are very good! And a large variety of flavors. We have two Dairy Queens closer to us but we consistently have problems at those and always end up over here, where we have success. This Dairy Queen has never disappointed us. The staff ranges from nice to extremely nice. Yesterday we were greeted cheerfully by two staff members with a third up and coming staff member standing by to get training while taking our order. This DQ is new and modern, different from the 1960 style locations. It's always clean and in working order, the bathrooms are good, open, and working. We haven't had any problems with our food items, in fact my very picky wife loves the tacos here and is delighted every time we get them. The DQ on Hwy 6 near 1092 is a disaster, avoid that one. The DQ on Texas Parkway will flatly refuse to honor offers you get on the app. This Hwy 90 location honors the offers without resistance and is open normal hours. Just...
