Oooo buddy. This is the one. Find me a better Mexican restaurant in Stamford. If you can, I would love to try it. This place beats out Mexicue for sure as well as Riviera. Food was great, chips and salsa came prompt and toasty. Service was great, super pleasant staff. Outside seating was nicely set up for the space they have. Didn’t have a drink but the prices seemed reasonable - hopefully they have some good ol’ fashioned heavy Mexican pours. I’ll update if I ever have the luxury.

Honestly I never really write reviews but I’m kind of upset. I ordered chicharron de pollo and it usually comes with tostones and a salad as it says on the menu, I switched the tostones for fries instead. My plate was missing the salad and the dressing for the chicken. Not only that, but I’m upset that I was charged $19 for this, literally a child size tray! I called the restaurant and the girl on the phone claimed I had to *ask for the salad* when the menu says it brings it.

Stopped in for a late breakfast of Huevos Rancheros today. It is by far some of the best I’ve eaten. Coffee was good too. Do your stomach a favor and order this the next time you are in the neighborhood. Parking around the restaurant is difficult at best even with a lot next the restaurant but it’s worth it. On past visits I’ve enjoyed their Carne Asada, Chicken Enchiladas and Camarones A La Diabla (shrimp in a lime garlic sauce if I remember it right).

A Flavorful Fiesta at Casa Villa: Stamford's Mexican Gem

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Casa Villa in Stamford, CT is hands down the best authentic Mexican cuisine I've ever tasted. As a fitness enthusiast who counts macros, I'm very particular about my cheat meals. Without a doubt, Casa Villa is my go-to spot when it's time to treat myself.

The shrimp Diablo dish is an absolute must-try! Paired with their scrumptious chips and salsa, it's a flavor explosion that's worth every calorie. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, making the whole dining experience truly exceptional.

But it's not just the food that sets Casa Villa apart; the staff's extreme friendliness and professionalism make you feel welcomed and valued from the moment you step through the door. Their attentiveness and warm smiles never waver, and it's impossible not to feel compelled to tip generously – in my case, nearly 30% – to show appreciation for the amazing experience.

If you're in Stamford and craving authentic Mexican cuisine, don't hesitate to visit Casa Villa. Trust me, you'll leave with a happy heart and a...

Casa Villa is a small mexican restaurant in Stamford, CT. The decor is modern and attractive. The latin music doesn't stop either.

We were immediately greeted as we opened the door. Service continued to be excellent throught our time there.

The menu was a bit more varied than what I expected. I ordered chicken enchiladas in salsa verde (green tomatillo sauce). My enchiladas were delicious, although the rice appeared to be a little dry and otherwise unremarkable. The refried beans were just ok.

My wife ordered chicken tacos. These were actually so hot that we had to return them. However management quickly complied and brought a new order sans the hot sauce.

So, to summarize, food was acceptable (especially for the price - lunch for two for less than $28), ambiance was above average and the service was...

This place used to be our go to spot great food great staff and great food. Went there recently and boy has it gone down hill. I sat and watched as a patron stood and waited for someone to help him for 15min then he just walked out. There prices are crazy high now. $23 for steak fajitas is absurd. You can’t eat there without spending $100 for 2 people. Which is absurd for quality of food and staff. Wish they would undo whatever changed. Because they took an affordable local spot and made it crazy expensive without increasing food quality and quantity. Very sad

What’s even worst is there is a food truck down the street that serves much bigger portions for much lower prices. So it’s not the cost of food causing the price increases. Just another...
