update 3 - 2/8 ; still no refund ever given. update#2* you do not in fact give refunds unless it abides by your demands, I still never received my refund or a direct response to make things right. Even worse, Just public responses through here.
In response to Owner We did a favor and tossed the possible exposed food instead of handing it back to your driver (who was in fact NOT wearing his mask). But your driver and front counter/waitress were adamant regardless just for a refund.. stating the EMPLOYEES (the driver) would be CHARGED the mistake if the food was not given back, whether that be false or true. Because of your “orders” or “rules” your employees and restaurant essentially are saying -no incorrect order back to us=no way in getting your money back no matter what, no if’s or but’s-
granted your “rules” your employees have to argue to have a customer dig through garbage to give it back, and if not done.. just a sorry from your employee and no food or money back which is what happened to me. This began with not receiving a correct and casual order we use to love getting and led to all of this. The order was cash and a simple refund could have been done. Driver left with my correct order and the restaurant had to “enforce” these rules “ sorry no refund or food because you tossed the mistake unless you’d like to pay for these new tacos now”.. the audacity to have a restaurant try to imply this after creating the mistake to begin with.
you rather have a customer experience this instead of just accepting the outcome of tossed food in good merit and grant a refund
Overall unprofessional and horribly greedy experience.
Original post: Delivery here is horrible. Refused to give refund after making multiple mistakes and all during a pandemic they want the partially ate food or COVID exposed food given BACK to the delivery driver for a refund or as an exchange just to fix their mistakes. Crazy, They are exposing all their workers and...
Read moreI came here a few months ago and ordered Carne Adobada for take out. I really like the ají sauce so I asked if I can have some on the side. The lady helping me said no, and explained that the dish I ordered doesn’t come with ají sauce because that sauce is for Peruvian food, not for Central American food. And added that I could buy it on the side. I told her I just wanted a little bit, the smallest of the small containers for sauce, but said I still had to pay. So I just left it at that. Normally experiences like these don’t deter me from coming back if the food tastes good (that would be the case for Casa Villa East Main St., they don’t hide the fact they charge you for everything extra). But the carne adobada was so incredibly salty, I couldn’t finish eating it. So needless to say I’m not coming back. I’ll get my carne adobada fix from Mi Ranchito Restaurant. They always include my...

I was looking forward to a nice dinner out today, hoping to relax and enjoy my evening. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I was left waiting for an extended period, despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty. It seemed like the staff prioritized customers who were on their phones, which was quite frustrating.
By the time I decided to leave, I was feeling angry and disappointed. The lack of professionalism was evident, not to mention the overall aesthetics of the place left much to be desired. I expected a better experience, and I won’t...
