July 2021 - Be Warned ⚠️ Not For Those With Allergies. I ordered for pick up a large order. I have one peanut allergy eater. I've ordered many times at Chinese take outs before. I know to order this specific dish, Beef Ho Fun/Chow Fun, a certain way so there are no mistakes in the making of it. The allergy eater cannot have the actual peanut(the nut meat part itself), but if it's cooked in a facility that's shared with peanuts, it's fine. I specifically ordered the Beef And Noodles ONLY. NOTHING else, please. She assured me with a definite "yes" answer. We received the order. Took it home and the 1st bite into the Beef Ho Fun, allergy flares up! Tongue started to itch, stomach cramps, feeling swollen. It was Beef Ho Fun and nothing else. On inspection, I find tiny pieces of peanuts in the Beef Ho Fun. Why??? I called & they said they didn't put any peanuts in the dish? Really? Because I can see them and pick them out. All other and every Asian restaurant we've gone to and ordered Beef Ho Fun/Chow Fun never had any peanuts in them. Just as I placed the order of "Just Beef & Noodles." No one puts peanuts in Ho/Chow Fun Noodle dish. I'd be careful with this place. They tell you they didn't add an ingredient in the dish, but they do it and how would you know, unless you were allergic to it. By the time you eat the dish, it's too late then. They don't take your order with care. Be Warned ⚠️.

TL;DR- wonderful food, kind service, not too expensive, nice heating, and overall 10/10 place! Me and my cousins went on a trip to connecticut and decided to end it here- and we’re really glad we did! We called the place first and they were really nice over the phone. The service was calm and nice in person, too. The food was amazing. It was nice and hot, (steam coming out), i had chicken wings, fried rice, and some sesame chicken which were all very tasty! i was still trying to eat all of it even after i felt full. My family agrees with me that the food was good too. It was also imo cheaper for how good the food was. We didn’t have to wait too long too. It was an absolutely freezing outside, and when we went in, the place was nice and warm compared to how frosty it was outside. If you want some good chinese food and you’re in the area, i suggest dining here!

I was born in Hong Kong and never would I have thought to be able to find truly authentic, quality, Hong Kong Cantonese style cuisine here in the middle of Stamford. I asked for a classic Hong Kong dish, 乾炒牛河 (pronounced roughly ‘gone chow niau haw’ - probably corresponds to “stir fried beef wide rice noodle” and the chef whipped it right up literally to standard of how I grew up eating it. The beef was so tender, veggies cooked to perfection (not overcooked, perfectly still crunchy), and noodles with the perfect texture. The best part was that the sauce was correct - not too salty and the perfect umami flavour. I’m so glad I found this place, or this place found me. I can’t wait to go back. Oh, tons of comfortable and clean seating as well! I’m pregnant and couldn’t bear waiting to get home through traffic to eat it so I cracked it open on the spot.

There was a rats skull in my food, no u heard me right. This was the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered a sesame chicken and automatically from opening the plate and starting to eat the pieces of chicken did have strange shapes but I thought maybe I was overthinking it until I started tasting strange flavors and bit into something really hard. When I instantly pulled it out of my mouth and it was something that had the face of a rat. I called them back and told him and they didn’t care they offered if I would want the same thing again like why would I. I told them if they can’t replace it for something with shrimp… can u believer they tried to charge me for it. How disgusting!! I was throwing up all night. If I can give 0 stars I would!!! DO NOT EAT OR ORDER HERE!! If you have any sense or care about urself....
