New China King — Restaurant in Stamford

I was a loyal customer until today! I ordered my food and left work to pick it up only for my order to be incorrect! I ordered Veggie lo mein but received 2 orders of rice instead. I call and explain that they made a mistake and I was told an extra fee of $1 will be added. (I only agreed because I didn't trust that my food would be safe if I made a big deal of the mistake) The fact that I had to drive back over there after eating my meal annoyed me the most! I get there and they demand that I give them the veggie rice back for the lo mein and I asked that they just do an even swap for the inconvenience but they got loud instead and asked for the "DOLLAR" That just goes to show what type of restaurant China King is! To treat a longtime customer like trash over a mistake they made that I had to go out of my way to fix. I asked for my money back and left! I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN! MONEY HUNGRY A-HOLES They don't even give you an egg roll with your meal like most Chinese restaurants do!...

The food is good, although today I noticed that when I ordered today my total came out to 14.93 but I was charged 7 cents. The money wasn't the problem, it was the principle. This made me go look at my receipts for all my past orders from them. For months, I was charged 6 or 7 cents extra and didn't notice. I called and long story short, the lady got defensive, was telling me it was no big deal, even offered me the change back or something free. She couldn't give me a reason why I've been charged extra few cents. All i wanted to know is why. That's basically robbing people blind. I admit, their food is good.......

The delivery driver is a very nasty person he put the food down on the steps and when my son handed him the money he just turned and walked away !!! He didn’t even have the decency to hand it to my son like my son handed him the money and I was watching from my ring camera . Even when he called to say he was downstairs he was extremely rude . The first time it happened I thought maybe he’s having a bad day but every time is ridiculous. I won’t be ordering from them ever again, to many Chinese places around to deal with this rude one.
