3% SERVICE CHARGE! without notifying customers/signage. Dishonest business owners. The advertised price was $12.19, and they charged us $13.63. I paid cash and was also planning to put some money in the tip jar, however, I did the math in my head and something didn’t add up. They didn’t provide a paper receipt, I had to tap to have it texted to me. I found out there was a 3% service charge. I looked around and it wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the menu or table. Worker (not sure if it’s the manager or owner) just tried to explain that this is normal with all purchases, but after going on the Square website, the POS system they use, I found out the service charge is optional for businesses to choose to add on (Another shop in the same food court who used Square didn’t charge a service fee). I wasn’t happy, so I canceled my order and asked for a refund. She asked me to email the owners and ask for refund. I refused and I asked her to call the owner. She said the owner is in Paris and she didn’t want to bother them. I said shouldn’t owners care about (be responsible for) their business. After a brief exchange she refunded me. It’s not a matter of money but of principle. Felt scammy that they didn’t post anywhere or disclose to me they’d charge a service fee and just conveniently hid it in the receipt. I don’t like to trick my customers and have made less money from being an honest person. I don’t like to support dishonest businesses who take advantage of people like that. Raising the price is still better than...

The food? Absolutely amazing. Whether you’re craving a sweet crepe or a savory one, every bite is bursting with flavor. I had the Nutella strawberry crepe and it was perfect—light, crispy, and just the right amount of sweet. My friend ordered a savory crepe and couldn’t stop talking about how delicious and satisfying it was.
It’s rare to find a place where you feel both full and fulfilled after leaving—but Crepes Avenue does exactly that. I’m so grateful to have found this gem. To the lovely owners: thank you for your warmth, your heart, and your incredible food. You’ve created something truly special, and I’ll be back...
Read moreOrdered the crepe with bananas and salted caramel, my companions got the Chic (lemon curd and brown sugar) crepes. Let me just say that at about 12 dollars on average, their sweet crepes were pretty expensive for what you get. That's okay if they're absolutely outstanding, but mine was just alright. No, scratch that -- it was alright if I'd ordered a large tortilla stuffed with a sliced banana and salted caramel. That's about the sturdy, chewy thickness and texture of the crepe I received. Maybe they make their other crepes differently than the type I ordered? Possibly. My companions didn't have any complaints, but neither was anyone praising their Chic experience. Two stars for my personal crepe experience, adding a third star for the benefit...
