Dos Reales Mexican Restaurant & Steak House Bar — Restaurant in Stanwood

We were a party of four with one child on Mother's Day, around 5:30 pm. The food was okay but the service was lousy. First of all my daughter ordered a Shirley Temple and it was awful, like selzer water dyed pink. She sent it back with a hint on how to make it.....7-up with grenadine. It came back the same, I think they just poured the original in another glass. So instead she ordered a root beer. Although the place was not crowed by any means, our dinners took a little over an hour to get to us. Other customers came and went while we were waiting. Our grandson got very antsy and we had to take him outside for a little walk. The seatbelt in the childs seat was broken. Then they messed up the order. No French fries for the little one, they gave him beans and rice instead. But at that point we didn't even mention it because it would have probably taken then another hour to get those to us. They didn't apologize for the wait, or even ask if we wanted anything else. We had to remind her to bring another fork and some napkins to the table. They never did ask our grandson what he wanted to drink.......they had small children cups with straws beside the cash register which other kids were given. The service was so disappointing. Won't go back there, several other Mexican restaurants in the area that would appreciate...

I order Pollo A La Crema at every Mexican restaurant I go to, and have for over two years. For a frame of reference, I've realistically been to somewhere between 40 and 50 Mexican restaurants during this time frame.

This was bar none, the best Pollo a la crema I've ever experienced. The onions were sauteed perfect. The peppers were fresh and crisp. The rice and cheese sauce was muy bueno. The cream was smooth and wonderfully done. The chicken was both generous in size AND portion, but not too large, nor tough, to handle. Presentation was on point.

My only complaint is they give you too much food 😂 leftovers picture was from two adult meals and a kids enchilada, and it's about as much as a normal set of adult meals and a kids meal.

This is my third order through grub hub. They messed up the first two orders so I decided to call them to make sure they got the order right. I told them I wanted chips and salsa but didn’t see it on the menu. The gal said the order automatically comes with chips and salsa so that was great. The order got here and needless to say they forgot the salsa. I would have paid for it. I called the restaurant and the gal who answered the phone was just rude. She said “ what do you want me to do, send the driver back here to get your salsa?” I said no I just wanted you to know I called ahead just to make sure the order was right. And she just hung up. I won’t be doing business with them again. Poor customer service 😕 Not only that, they have been consistently late on...
