I go to D'Laney's occasionally for lunch on Saturday or Sunday. I went for lunch today, Sunday, September 14 for lunch. I sat at the bar and waited quite a while before I was asked what I would like to drink. I was about ready to leave and go somewhere else. I was served a beer and after a longer time I was asked if I wanted a menu. I did. Then I waited a long while before I was asked what I would like to eat. It seemed like I spent most of my time there waiting for something. I don't know the names of the two girls working there. The white one was the one that somewhat waited on me. The black girl ignored me. I was there for two hours. Usually in that amount of time I will have six or seven beers but I only had three due to lack of service. They had to call Lauren & Brittany in to set up the TVs for football. Lauren saw me and spoke to me. She is very nice. Brittany came and sat next to me and talked to me for a while. We've known each other a long time. I had finished my beer and food and wanted another beer but I waited and was never asked for another one. I decided to leave and went outside & Brittany was out there. I told her I would pay the next time I came there because I was tired of waiting and she convinced me to come back in and pay. She ran my tab for me even though she was off. Y'all should be grateful to have such a fine employee as her. I wouldn't have had these problems if Lauren or Kristen were working. You need more people like those three young ladies. Oh, and the usual guy was there cooking. He always does a good job. And most of the time there is a girl cooking that wears colorful overalls. She does a good job and has even come out to the bar and asked me if I would like something to eat. I'll be back but I hope Kristen, Lauren or Brittany are there so I will get good service. Brittany can tell you I don't like to sit around...
Read moreWe went to Dlaney's Sunday while we were out riding motorcycles. We had 7 people. Waitress just had a large table (2 tables connected for larger group) leaving, so asked us to give her a few to clean the tables off---no problem. After they cleaned the tables, they broke two large tables apart to make for 2 separate tables of 4 each---which didn't work for us. We asked if we could have the 2 tables put back together for the 7 of us and were told "if you want it like that----you gonna do it". Really???? So we put the tables back together ourselves and sat down. Our waitress (who wasn't the rude table arranging lady) was absolutely wonderful. We apologized to her if we upset the other lady, but we felt that was very rude. The mean lady continued to eye roll and huff at us our entire visit. Food was great though----just disappointed in the attitude of one employee. If you own this business & want to know who the rude one was, contact me directly----she's easy...
Read moreThese are the Nastiest people on earth and they hate dogs! The owner asked me why I had a service dog and then he proceeded to tell me he did not believe I was disabled. He then asked me what my disability was. He also insulted my dog that was just laying next to me. There is no excuse for the appalling behavior from the bartender Lauren and the horrible owner. Trust me I will not stop until I stop this behavior! The only nice employee was the cook which the bartender insulted and said her opinion did not matter. Just a horrible place both occasions were miserable and the bartender needs an attitude adjustment jobs are hard to find. I will say I left and went to the wine maestro it was night and day. Just amazing people. I cannot wait to give them the 5 star review they deserve. Also dogs are very welcome at the Wine Maestro...
