For a small town bakery, I was blown away. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite, but if you twist my arm, I'll say, Apple Fritter. That is if you're talking about their pastries. Otherwise, I'll choose the Avocado Toast. The toast looked so good, I dove into it and forgot to take a picture, it was that yummy.

What really surprised me and delighted me to no end, is the fact that they offer booze. I'm retired so a breakfast out is always like a weekend brunch. I love a Bloody Mary and my cousin likes a Mimosa and they were able to satisfy each of our preferences. Their bar is limited, but the beers they offer are local craft beers. Love it when local supports local.

Their chicken salad is killer and and once you've tried it, you'll be buying a container to take home. I like grapes in my chick salad and this one also has candied pecans. OMG, those two extra ingredients made my taste buds sing.

I don't know where to begin. Blackbird was recommended to me, and it took me a long time to finally make it here, but I am so glad I did. It was my first time, so I may have missed something, but it seemed like more of a cafe, than a bakery, even though there were bakery items there. The Croque Madame was sensational. And huge.
