Rooster's Pub — Restaurant in Staunton

Went for the cheese curds, and they did not disappoint unfortunately thats is all that was not disappointing. After an hour and a half of waiting for the rest of our food, we decided to pay for what we had and leave. Mind you, it was just 4 people out for dinner. We didn't order a ridiculous amount of food. It was a wing night, take out orders, and the patio seemed to take priority over the dining room orders. Our waitress went MIA for the last half hour of us waiting. You could feel the attitude and tension from the kitchen by the way the waitress was acting. We continually had to ask for drinks by going to the bar. Food is usually amazing, I just wish it was easier to understand my order , i asked for 6 chicken sliders and got 6 beef sliders , they came with fries and qeuso like i asked thankfully, i had ordered 3 beef sliders also with fries and ranch but recieved the ranch with no fries , I don't mean to sound rude but when i pay 50$ for a meal and 10$ for a tip I expect good service, i asked for 6 chicken sliders and 3 beef sliders , I don't wanna go back and ask for a refund either because than i feel bad for wasting food , just wish the service asked more questions instead of saying is that all for you , kinda felt like they didn't even...

Been on the road since 6am, made it as far as Staunton, IL. Looking for a beer and burger ee found Roosters. Was pretty quiet, but the staff was super friendly, she even shared some jokes with us. .75 cent wing night, I had 6 extra crispy (first time given this option), buffalo of course, and fries. Food was good, service was great, staff was awesome, would stop again and recommend if you are in town....
