I recently visited this cafe and had an unpleasant experience. I left my water bottle in the car and needed it to take my medication due to chronic pain. After retrieving my water and returning to my seat, a store employee approached me to discuss a policy about using their free Wi-Fi and tables, stating that customers must buy something.
We were planning to make a purchase and stay longer, so it felt very disrespectful for the employee to assume we wouldn't buy anything. It sucks that even though itâs such a nice comfortable cafe with a great menu, and on a hot day like this of course we came to get some refreshers and have a good time but after this interaction I didnât feel like getting anything or coming back here ever . Even if we had not planned to buy something immediately, we did not deserve to be confronted in such a manner. This interaction made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Itâs not like I come here everyday and donât buy anything . also there was ants crawling...
Read moreThe cafe is super cute, the employees and owner are kind, and the drinks are great. When you walk into the cafe, you are greeted with soft, comfortable decor and an easy to read menu. The selection is quite vast as well, as they offer teas, coffees, lemonades: some of which base themselves on the mangas/animes that line the shelves of the cafe. The owner is a sweetheart, and does her best to take care of her customers. The employees are wonderful as well: personable, helpful, and easy to talk to. Once you order, you'll find that the drinks are just another reason to bring yourself to the cozy atmosphere Haru Cafe offers. I got the blood lemonade, which was so good I'm still craving it 2 weeks later. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys or would like to get into reading manga. Even if you don't, I'd still recommend it as just a place to chill and enjoy some...
Read moreThe team behind Haru Cafe have made such a unique and creative space, marketed to fans of anime as well as coffee/cafÊ lovers.
I visited with my family, and we tried a range of their drinks and food - and we were all really really impressed with the affordability as well as the great tasting food and drinks. I had the Aurora Lemonade and really liked it.
Thereâs a special section of the cafe where there are tables, chairs and stationary for you to try out drawing some anime characters. This was super fun, and we all spent some time attempting the same.
It would be great to see how their menu continues to expand! For instance it would be great if Japanese soufflĂŠ pancakes were are option.
This was a really fun & unique experience! Looking forward to exploring more in the...
