My Sushi & Catering LLC — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

I'd rate a 3 star. Sushi looked beautiful and fresh. The order was done a lot faster than I expected, which was nice. The staff seemed very nice and welcoming. I take away from 5 stars however because the moment I walked in, there was a distinct and unpleasant odor. When trying a new sushi restaurant (or any restaurant for that matter), you normally expect it to smell very clean and spic and span. Instead, it smelled like an Indian restaurant and moldy water. It was also very dark insude. It throws off from the vibe of the place. The smell reeked into the rice of my sushi and that's all I could notice/smell when eating. I'm only harshly critiqueing because I feel like if this place fixed that, they could become close to a 5 star rating. They seemed very nice and they have unique options (like the fruit roll in my picture). I hope for the best...

We have ordered the Party trays a few times. The sushi is good, no matter how far in advance we order we always seem to wait another 15 minutes because it's not ready. Last night we ordered california rolls and when we got it home it didn't taste right, the crab had a big fish smell and tasted like soap. When I called them to tell them the guy was pretty much arguing with me how he had just made them. He might of just made them but the crab was not good! Then he said well what do you want me to do? I was gonna bring them back but instead threw them out, we didn't want any more sushi from there. He was not pleasant to talk to and I don't think we will order from...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at My Sushi & Catering, and I have to say, they truly stand out as the best in the city! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere that set the tone for an incredible meal.
