Robusto's Cigar Bar and Bistro — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

Went here with my husband to meet some friends and watch the McGregor fight. I had the shaved apple salad and added chicken. I've been craving it everyday since then! The veggies were perfectly chopped (I have a weird obsession with the uniformity of the veggies in my salad), it wasn't drowning in dressing, and the chicken was seasoned well and grilled to perfection. Hubby had lamb chops with a beautiful looking char and cooked medium rare as he ordered them, chicken fingers and fries (I later found out they were duck fat fries - no wonder they were delicious). We both had our usual drinks - he, a Moscow mule, I, a titos soda. My friends had a 'blossom' to drink and they loved it but I don't like any flavor in my drinks so I didn't order it. They also had a creme brulee and they ate the whole thing so it must've been good. Someone else had a scotch (???) sampler, I thought that was a nice touch on the menu for a cigar place.

I don't smoke so I can't comment on the cigar selection but the humidor was an impressive size.

I agree with the others, the ventilation was great, I wasn't bothered by the cigar smoke while I was there. However, I definitely smelled smokey...

We decided to celebrate the sweetest day at at this cigar bar and bistro.. There were a few other restaurants that we were looking at but selected here because of the reviews and their menu options.

When we arrived, the crowd was medium. There were some open seats available. We were sat quickly and scanned the menus with our phones. This is when I noticed there was a disconnect between what Open Table showed as the menu versus the actual menu at the restaurant.. The Open Table menu had way more options, which was part of the appeal in coming here.

We were able to find some things that we still liked on the current menu and also ordered drinks. We visited the humidor and picked out a couple of cigars to have there and 2 to take home with us. The service was amazing and we really enjoyed our waitress.. It should be noted that there were only 2 servers for the entire night With a restaurant full of customers at times.. This meant that there was a longer wait to get your food and drink orders. The 2 servers did an exceptional job.

We will definitely come back again.. Hopefully by then they will have their full full menu back and they will have all the staffing...

First time visiting this establishment and it blew my expectations out of the water... I was greeted by Harry (who I later found out was the owner) and he quickly sat me down. The food menu offers "Super Prime" steak. I've never heard of it and I'll be going back to try it. My friend and I ordered the fries and we were both raving about them... They are served with three different types of dip and I truly thought all of them were amazing. The service from our waiter (Dennis) was superb and he was extremely passionate about his work and always had a smile on his face. As for the cigars and ventilation system, they were both top notch. The new state-of-the-art ventilation system (which was running at only 70% of capacity) effortlessly filtered the air and provided clean fresh air (perfect place to take a lady friend who isn't fond of cigar smoke). The cigars we had were "My Father" and they were a great smooth/evenly burning cigar for the price.

Overall, I highly recommend this cigar bar and bistro. Great atmosphere, great people, great food, even better selection of...
