My husband and I and our adult son ate at Angelo’s II in Sterling on Sunday evening, July 27. The service was very poor. We think the waitress was high. The waitress couldn’t remember our drink order for a glass of ice, a serving of ice tea, and one coffee. The bread with appetizers looked like and tasted old. Only 1/2 of the Italian bread that came with the bruschetta was eatable. The other was over-toasted. There was hardly any shaved cheese, and there was no grated cheese on the table - we had to get up and get it ourselves. We had to get up and get our own plates and napkins Because the waitress didn’t Service any and then when she saw us get up and get her own plates and napkins, she may comment that she had forgot to do that for us. She did that twice. I told my husband to go to the salad bar and bring back plates and napkins, so we can go ahead and eat. The bill was over $80. The food was not up to Angelos’ reputation. The waitress was actually scary; she behaved as if she was high. She complained of being dizzy and had a headache and she had all the shades pulled way down. It was very dark and depressing in our area where we ate. She couldn’t stand still- had her hands bagging garbage and then she was serving food. It was the worst experience that I’ve had at eating at Angelo’s in nearly 20 years I’ve been one of the customer. And I intend to call the manager in...

My daughter worked here when she was in high school. The food and the Service was outstanding. Not so good anymore! My family and I had dinner here last night and we go $2 worth of service and a $114 bill. We made reservations and they seated someone else at our table, even though we were there on time. We had to hunt the waitress down several times for items that should have been brought to the table with the pizza and more drinks. My spaghetti pizza was bland and dry. The salads we ordered I would not have fed to my dog. The waitress only asked us once if we needed anything. I dont know if its because we are black that we got the service we got last night, but it sure seemed like the waitresses were more attentive to the other patrons. We had to ask another waitress for parmesan cheese and when she brought it back she threw it on the table and ran off. We will never est at Angelos again. The food was just as bad as there service. Even after all that we still gave the waitress a $15 tip which would of been $60 because we all was chipping in $10 each for her tip. Personally I didnt want to give her anything but my daughter felt it was wrong not to tip her so she gave her the tip and a few tips to being a...

Order an Italian hamburger for pick up. Had no idea what an Italian hamburger was but wanted to try something new. Figured it was probably just another name for a normal hamburger. Since there is no detail to the online menus at all it just list the name and price no description. Not the reason for bad review tho. When I open up my sandwich it was wrapped tight in wax paper. I thought it was a tamale and they messed my order up. After unwrapping I find a thin slice of what looks like meatloaf Inbetween what was supposed to be bread but was just a sponge that soaked up a bunch of grease and was just mush now. The entire peice of wax paper was just saturated in grease there was a small puddle of grease in the container the sandwich came in. I wish i could upload a picture in this review. To ice it all off when I called to talk to manager do believe his name was chris. He informs me that they come with sauce and will get messy. By far the worst customer service I have ever had will not be going back to Angelo's in sterling. Food and...

Screw you Alan and Scott for giving this one star. A one star restaurant is like going to a place you believe to be a local burger joint then getting swept up in a sushi restaurant where they do cocaine off of the belly's of non-proverbial women. A one star restaurant is like going to you neighbor to borrow a screwdriver then that neighbor drilling a third inch hole in the side of your head. A one star restaurant is like going to the bathroom and finding the fecal matter of previous users smeared across the bathroom so you can't tell if you're in a transformers movie of really, really good Mongolian place. These people have never been to a one star restaurant. I enjoy myself darn near every time I go here. The pizza? āœ”ļø. The Italian burgers? āœ”ļø. The service? āœ”ļø. This place has the same cultural affluence as a hot dog joint in Chicago or an In-N-Out in California. To rate that one star, well rub me sideways baby you really don't know your number.

Usually good experience, not impressed this visit. Cold by window. Few months ago margarita was a special on saturday. 8 bucks this time. Did get good alchohol amount. Thought the beef sandwich had a juis. Got spaghetti sauce. Need to specify more. Stick to salad bar from now on. Do like the food. No drink specials like they use to haveI guesse anymore... Steady business, not overwhelming. Will still eat there. Waitress was still good. Just was an off day I guess for stuff..

Every year we go to the Amboy Depot Days I get excited for the spaghetti pizza at Angelo's! How can you go wrong with a huge pizza covered in spaghetti and meatballs?? We take it one step further and get extra cheese on it for an oh so gooey pizza pie! And the service is always good to match! Keep in mind we make an almost 2 hour drive for this pizza! Don't forget the fried cheese curds, yum!
