Daryl's is what they say they are.
The staff is small but they make up for it in years of experience and ability. They are on top of everything and don't make many mistakes, which is good for a place that is fairly new in a brand new location.
You will either love or hate the eclectic menu but I'd bet you're gonna lean towards love. The menu plays to its own tune. It's compiled mostly of what I would consider recovery food. It's all of ur home cooked favorites and what u love from other places but with no dishes to do and under one roof. this place is great for groups of picky eaters. Everyone will definitely find something to enjoy. And as long as you're not ridiculous with the order changes this is a locally owned and operated restaurant so they care a bit more and would be happy to accommodate you if u want to change or alter an order. Just be patient when doing so I say that for all restaurants they can only do so much.
compared to other restaurants the price isn't bad probably about 10 dollars per person or cheaper on average.
The kitchen is one of the cleanest I have ever seen. The owner who works in the back stays Kate every night almost making sure of that. Everyone can appreciate that.
Another aspect of Daryl's is it is attached to a 312 and you can get beers and alcoholic beverages here as well depending on when u go (check their hours before u go). 312 operates independently and cooperatively from Daryl's the staff are happy to put an order in and bring the drinks to the table, as long as u are ordering food. Whereas u can sit at the bar and they will order food for u.
Parking is an issue there isn't much of it I'm curious to see how they handle that or if there are any ideas on how to overcome that obstacle. I suggest parking across the street that probably ur best bet. A lot of the other spots around there require a city pass or are timed u can avoid all that by just parking across the street from the front of the place.
All in all it's a good place with even better ppl. It's definitely...
Read morewas traveling through Sterling with my dog and after walking all through downtown, someone mentioned I had to stop at Brother Daryl’s. Boy, am I glad I did!
From the moment I walked in, the two staff working (one of them may have even been Daryl himself!) made me feel like I’d been coming there for years, even though it was my first visit. They were genuinely curious about me being from out of town, and that kind of warm welcome isn’t something you always find in small towns—it made the experience even more special.
I ordered the Brother’s Bowl, and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff even told me about a park just 200 feet away where I could sit outside and enjoy my meal with my dog, which is exactly what I did. It turned into the perfect morning.
I also loved learning that Brother Daryl’s started back in 2021 during the pandemic out of a portable tent. Clearly, people loved it, because now it’s grown into this charming, homey spot. Oh, and did I mention—they offer free delivery! Yes, you heard that right. Free delivery!
If you’re anywhere near Sterling, this place is a must-visit. Great food, even better people, and a community feel that makes you want to come back...
Read moreThank the heavens for this place. This restaurant is honestly the only restaurant left that I’m aware of that serves food with the utmost integrity, passion, and quality. Every other restaurant has sold their soul to make an extra dollar, but not Brother Daryl’s. I couldn’t be more thankful for this place. I’ve never encountered a restaurant that likes big orders like Brother Daryl’s does. Usually when I order a large amount of food from a restaurant, the employees are irritated and I end up with spit or urine in my food (I wish I was exaggerating, but it’s true). If you’re reading this review right now, you better be eating brother Daryl’s food or getting ready to order some because if not, I will send henchman to find you and strap you to a railroad track. Brother Daryl’s is the greatest restaurant ever that still cares about what and how they serve their food. Always hooking me up fat too. Idk how they could get any better. It’s like this restaurant floated down from a cloud to bless the community’s taste buds. I’d have no probably copping an entire pay checks worth of food from this place. Very lucky to have a...
