3Twelve Restaurant & Tavern — Restaurant in Sterling

I decided to stop here for lunch while I was in town for work today. They had pretty good reviews so I decided to check them out. The outside of the building looks more modern than the inside however, the inside of the building is well-maintained and clean. I did not order any alcoholic beverages, but they seemed to have many different cocktail options as well as many long necks and tap available. They also had some delicious looking cheesecake but I did not try any. I ended up ordering the pecan bacon-bourbon smash burger w/fries. The burger and fries were aesthetically pleasing and looked to be exactly what I ordered. The burger was very flavorful, and tasted like a true smash burger. The bourbon sauce on the burger actually tasted like bourbon, unlike some places who a faint Flavor of bourbon. The bacon, grilled onions, and French onions went well together. Although the Burger Was very good It was a little much for me. Sometimes less is more. The Fries were surprisingly very crunchy and seasoned very well! I’m not usually a french fry girl, but these fries were a 10 out of 10. Lastly, I definitely want to shout out the server. I did not catch her name, however, she was working on April 10th, during The lunch hour. She was very courteous and made sure that I had what I needed. Her customer service alone is what prompted a five star rating from me. All in all, when I visit Sterling again, I Will definitely keep this...

First-time customers, and we won't be back. Our pretzel appetizer was deep-fried, and they were out of the beer cheese that's supposed to come with it. Caesar salad was good, as were the fries and brisket sandwich, but the service was terrible. When we asked if they had coffee, she said "Um...I can make some", like it was an inconvenience, as opposed to "I'll make some fresh and have it right out!". She never offered refills or gave us water, and her attitude was totally like she wished she was somewhere else...not engaged at all.

My husband and I both planned on ordering cheesecake, but the waitress walked up and slid our bill across the table without ever asking if we wanted dessert. (I never understand wait staff so dim that they can't figure out that a bigger bill usually equates to a bigger tip...they should be upselling EVERYTHING!) When my husband paid the bill, he mentioned that we'd both wanted cheesecake. She looked blank, then said "Sorry", followed by "The cheesecake is over there", pointing vaguely toward the bar area. No idea what we were to do with this information, but we finished paying and left. Normally very generous tippers, we...

I normally don’t write reviews; however, I am in awe of how long it took to get our food. My husband, myself and our two very small children ate here for our first time tonight 1/19 and it was pretty busy when we first came in. It was about 7pm but started clearing out shortly after. Took about 20 minutes to get our appetizers and our waitress waited until then to take our actual food order. 30 minutes later our son’s kid meal came out. Took another 30 minutes for us to get our food (2 burgers and fries). Over an hr and 20 minutes…then when our food came, we received a duplicate kids meal. The table next to us received a duplicate appetizer order…. People who sat after us received their food before us. I’m not sure what was going on there tonight, but they seemed to be adequately staff and their wait staff were running around apologizing right and left for the delay.
