This has always been my favorite pizza place, a Louisiana staple even. This Sterlington store has accepted hundreds of my dollars since I moved here last February, and have been declining fast ever since. They almost always mess up my order.
Last night, I went through the pick-up drive-thru line. When I pulled up to the window to look inside, 3 people noticed immediately, but let me wait 4 minutes before one of them came to the window to help me. They were not busy with other customers, just standing there glancing at me. I had paid with debit card online and tipped over 9 dollars on a PICK UP order! They still tried to charge me a second time! I had forgotten to order a soda so rounded up some cash to pay for that. During the 5 minutes it took them to get me a soda, I checked that my pizzas were correct. Everything looked to be the right toppings and they had melted cheese. Finally after almost 15 minutes in this line, with 3 or 4 cars now behind me, I am able to head back home to my family.
When I get home, I try to pull a piece out of the box onto my plate. The pizza was totally raw. I ordered thick crust, and apparently they thought it would be fine to cook a PREMADE medium pizza crust over a PREMADE small pizza crust. I immediately took it back up to the store, asking for the manager. The manager said "oh, they didn't press it hard enough", like he knew what they had done. The manager gave me 15 dollars cash and apologized, to be fair, but when I arrived at home again, my wife was baking our other pizza. We baked this "already cooked" pizza for an additional 20 minutes, and I still have a stomach ache from eating that crap last night.
I live right down the street from this store, but I will never give Johnny's Pizza another red cent, and feel they owe me a balace of 30 dollars still as all of the food they gave me last night was raw. What happened to the quality of food and service? The managers need to learn how to tell the kitchen staff when they are screwing up. I've asked 2 or more managers to talk to their staff because this has been happening more and more often over the last year. Good luck if you eat here, you will probably just be getting the wrong pizza and the red ass,...
Read moreI will have to say of my experience at this location that is was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. Our group arrived at the Sterlington location between 9 & 930 and the door was locked. A couple eating close to the door told us to go to the other door. We tried that door and it was locked too. The couple let us in and told us they were told one door would be locked for safety. The cashier was not pleased at all to be waiting on us and made it very well known. She glared at each of us as we ordered and huffed the entire time. When she brought the first pizza to the table she literally chunked it on the table. We all looked at each other in disbelief. When she brought mine out I asked her to please set mine down and not throw it at me. She set it down and walked off. After 10 when we were done eating the cashier would walk to the area we were in chatting and seemed to be ready for us to leave. WOW is all I can say, never had this kind of experience at a Johnny s pizza in all my 41 years and they are my preferred pizza joint. If you go here after...
Read moreI love some Johnny's pizza....but not from this location. It's the onions. Why are there onions on everything? EVERYTHING. I have never ordered onion on anything a day in my life. I don't dislike onion. I hate onion. So it gets to me that onion has found its way into my food the last 5 (FIVE!) times I have ordered from this location on 165 in Sterlington. Are y'all just making a mess back there with the toppings on the board? Are fistfuls of onion regularly passing over the pepperoni? Whatever you're doing back there, STOP IT. I couldn't eat the food I had delivered to me today. I tried. Even though I could smell the onions on it when I opened the box. I still tried to eat, and I had to spit out the first bite I took off 4 separate slices. I should have stopped ordering from this location after last time when some psychopath put onions all over my PEACH PUDDIN' PIE. I know y'all get slammed sometimes, so I can kind of understand an occasional tiny bit of onion on a pepperoni pizza. I'd still hate it, but I understand how it could reasonably happen....but on a peach pudding pie?!...
