Malta's Pizza — Restaurant in Steubenville

Salads are good but don’t expect a bigger salad when you order the extra large compared to the large only 2 more dressings. Comes in the same size to go container as the large. Was happy when I heard they had calzones but wasn’t impressed with it but wasn’t dissatisfied either except with the price for the size you get and made the mistake of ordering a few slices of pizza with a salad just to try it out and it’s absolutely horrible unless you like really thick doe with a tasteless bland red sauce and don’t go by what time they have listed as closing because it’s whenever they want to I guess. Called in about 9:10 for a salad, running a few minutes late and got there at 9:40 only to find it completely closed, lights out and not a sole to be found. Felt bad at first because I thought for some reason they close earlier than most pizza shops and it was my fault until I read the store hours and seen they closed at 10. Recommend the salads but you better dash straight there if it’s in the evening or you might not get it and if you want really good pizza( best around) and cheaper go a few blocks down the street but don’t buy this overpriced tasteless square really thick slice of doe. I do recommend this place for some of their items but not everything so read the reviews or ask around before you order...

My spouse and I have eaten here before and we loved the pizza and service. Now that time we had came in ordered and got our pizza. I call for a delivery today and first off it took me over and hour to get through to anyone. And when the guy finally answered he said they were having a late start. Ok no biggie that's alright . That it would take a half hour before the could start I said ok that's fine. Well remind you it's been snowing I understand that. Well I told the guy where my delivery was and I live in Town. Well he then said he couldn't deliver because of the roads till after two which would be over two hour wait. Now I go outside and look at the roads and they're clear. I don't know if he was just in a bad mood but I hope next time I'll have better service. But for now I'll continue calling Steve's fish...

The owners and their workers are so kind. You'll receive fast and courteous service whether you pick your orders up or call and have it delivered!! I love the Antipasto Salad, but Malta's - 'Pizza' is unlike that chewy and undercooked pizza from those shops that used to be the best back in the day. Since Malta's Pizza came to town some years ago, Malta's has been my favorite! Malta's took over the top spot in my heart by offering good, edible food! No more wet or reheated pizza, Yay! I definitely consider them the best Pizza in town. Some people may argue my point, but I'll just say they haven't tried it yet.... Thanks guys for the great experience over the years, and definitely keep up...
