Read moreOn Feb 7th at 8:03pm I pulled up and ordered a 12 piece nugget meal. Upon driving away I sample everything. I noticed that the nuggets were warm / cold. When I got home I called back to let the manager know the nuggets were basically cold and that I had to wait a few minutes for my order. The manager ( Abby ) was very friendly and understanding. She offered me a credit for 10 days. When I came back the next morning on my way to Costco I decided to stop by and get the credit fulfilled. I ordered a sandwich meal which was cheaper than the nugget meal. Oh my goodness what a ring around the roses experience. They told me I could get a sandwich that I had to get nuggets. They also told me that I had to pay for the fries and drink. I explained to them I didn’t want nuggets. They had me to pull over and had Abby to come from upstairs. She confirmed what they said. Then I gave her a speak about my first job when I was 16 at McDonald’s, I told her my pay raise was based on Quality & Customer Service. She then agreed to replace the nugget credit with a sandwich and then told me that I would have to pay for the fries and drink. I agree to pay for the fries and drink. When she returned with the meal, she stated I’m just going to go ahead and give you the fries and drink. I thanked her and pulled off. The moral of this experience…. I should have read their reviews before I pulled up to their drive thru first! Reviews tell the story in some cases. In this case it explains why there ratings are low. Is chick fil a loosing their Standards due to poor Quality and Customer Service? Also I informed Abby the manager I am big on google reviews , however I always give the establishment a second visit before leaving a review in some cases. Abby you fumble the ball. Read moreOn 4/24/2025 at 2:55 PM, we visited the Chick-fil-A on Jodeco Rd in McDonough, GA, and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We placed an order that included a Kale Crunch Side Salad, 30-count Grilled Nuggets, Small Waffle Fries, and a Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken. After being instructed to move forward to the line while waiting for the order, we ended up waiting over 25 minutes. With a work meeting approaching and running out of time for a late lunch, we had no choice but to leave the premises without receiving our food.
On our way back to the office, we called to report the issue. We were told that someone would get back to us, but no one followed up as promised. Two days later, we came back in person to address the situation. We spoke with the manager, Chris Warr, and explained what had happened. Unfortunately, he refused to provide us with a refund or replacement meal, stating it had been too long since the original incident. Despite our efforts to explain that we waited for someone to contact us as advised, we were met with a lack of understanding.
We respect that mistakes can happen, but this experience has left us feeling frustrated and undervalued as customers. All we are asking for is either a credit or a replacement meal for the food we paid for but never received. On top of that, we hope Chick-fil-A will prioritize treating customers with kindness and understanding, which is what has always set this brand apart.
