First Watch — Restaurant in Stockbridge

I had the privilege of getting a VIP reservation for the soft opening of First Watch McDonough, GA. The check in process for my reservation was smooth and easy with a short wait. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. I was seated at a nice clean table with silverware, menu, my server provided excellent customer service, shared the special drinks,followed up to make sure I had everything, if my food was to my liking and if I needed anything additional. A wonderful brunch atmosphere. The chairs for single patrons or couples was comfortable. I really absolutely LOVED the Purple Haze drink.It was so delicious and I was able to bring some home in the to go cup along with my leftovers. I loved the challah French toast, coffee brewed hot and fresh, ( I can tell)😉.The eggs were light and fluffy absolutely cooked to perfection. Can't wait to be a regular weekend patron and try the other specialty drinks. Location is close to home. This restaurant was a great addition to the Jodeco Development. My experience at First Watch was excellent. Due to its grand opening I was informed my wait time would be long. However, I was seated 15 minutes prior to wait time. My waiter “JUAN” provided excellent and professional service which made me feel special as he assured I had what I needed at all times. He was courteous, engaging and seemed to have lots of experience as I observed his movements and demeanor. He is definitely a keeper! My meal was delicious and served faster than I anticipated. The manager was both engaging and professional. A customer walked by my table exclaiming twice how happy she was?? First Watch has landed in McDonough, and if their soft opening was any indication, they’re about to become our new obsession. Stepping in, the vibe was instantly pure sunshine: bright, clean, and totally welcoming. What really sealed the deal was the service, which was so outstanding, we momentarily forgot they were even practicing! Our server, Laura, is an absolute looked after my son and me with such genuine warmth and charm that we felt like regulars, not first-timers. She consistently checked on us, but always with perfect timing (never hovering), just there exactly when you needed her. We're already planning our next brunch date here.
