I am absolutely disappointed with this business and how they handle issues when they are at fault. I was in the drive thru for almost 45 minutes today waiting for just two meals. I didn’t make a big deal about it because I have been a customer for over 6 years and they apologized and gave me a free brownie. The problem came when I got home and my food was cold. Yes cold wings and fish. I called the manager and she and her husband Conner told me to bring the food back and they would recook it. So I’m like ok but how am I being compensated for having to come all the way back when I literally starving at this point. They never could answer that!!! They said I could put the food in my freezer and hold on to it for a later date and if I’m somewhere near the would recook it. Who holds on to cold food!!! So now your implying that I’m lying about having cold food but they admitted to remembering how long my wait was and giving me a free brownie because of my wait. My kid goes the private school around the corner so this is always a quick go to spot. But never again and I will share this experience with all my family and friends. Terrible way to treat loyal customers that have supported your business for many years.
S/N: I came through the drive through this summer and there was a young teenage guy at the window that obviously had trouble counting money. I was about to drive off when I realized he shorted me over $10 so I pulled back and he seemed to not understand what happened and how he owed me more money. Another young lady that always has the different color hair was really kind and apologized and told me he was new. She gave me my money and I went on my way without any complaints. The point of me saying this is because I Could have clearly been upset with them and made a big deal about it but again I’ve been going here so long and I understood mistakes happen. Read moreOmg! Never in my entire life have I ever ever experienced customer service like this! Never have I tasted food like this. I am CSA so I know what’s required of great customer service. I cook and cater for many events at the customers request most is by word of mouth. My family and I driven by this place many times and kept saying “we gotta try it” so finally we did. Our first experience the young girl named “Jay” Omg she was phenomenal and so was the food! We were indecisive didn’t know what we wanted and she was very patient and also made suggestions not rushing us but helping our taste buds lol. She was the reason we made 2nd, 3rd, and 4th trips. I swear to the heavens each time the food was “gooder” lol yes GOODER (I know that’s not a word) but it was delicious, fresh, made to order and you can tell. I don’t drink soda but I tried a Pepsi and it was crisp not flat like most places, so whenever I have the taste for a soda or sweet tea, I drive here which is 20 minutes away (yes it’s worth the drive) The brownies were fresh and moist delicious. I thought my grandma made the best but I have to apologize, lol sorry grandma! I used to go to Chinese restaurants to get fried rice but never again. You want fresh made rice this is the place for you, wild rice with fresh veggies and meat if you like. No exaggeration I wish I could make this up. This is one of my favorite places. I am a real foodie! Oh and the owner Connor just down to earth young man, a real sweetheart, he’s all about serving quality food and quality customer service. Read moreI have been coming to this establishment for years. Remained a patron during all of the continuous price increase. Stood by when they didn't open on time, or was randomly closed. And tonight as I write this review at 8:15pm, sat at the speaker for several minutes and was never acknowledged. Pulled up behind the large yellow truck I was behind and waited patiently. There are signs displayed say "Tuesday 11-9pm - WE'RE BACK!!!!," but when I came to the window I was told they closed early. The young lady could have told me this at the speaker and I would have politely left and tried again another day. Instead I waited because I wasn't informed until I pulled up to the window. Prior to me moving to Georgia I would stop here and take wings back from here with me to the Midwest with a gallon of Strawberry Lemonade. Now living here I come all the way from Riverdale just for this wings because they were so good. At this point I will have to wash my hands of this business. I will say the food is great. I pass several wing establishments just to come here only to experience this makes me sad. LICKIN CHICKEN, if you continue with these inconsistent practices you will not be in business this time next year. You have loyal patrons that have kept you all in business for years watching all those other restaurants come and go on the other end of the Plaza.
