We went to have breakfast there about 1215 pm on 6/21/21. My wife and I have gone here several times over the years and have always had a great experience between the service and the food. Today was shocking! They were busy which of course is great to see and understandable as more folks are venturing out. So as they were busy, I went in and put our name in so we would be able to get a table when one was available. I waited for about 15 min and I saw an outside table free up. So I went and sat at it as everyone was pretty busy. Waited another 10 mins and a waiter walked by asked if I wanted water. Told him I had been waiting and was looking to order. He explained that I didn't read the sign and that I did not follow their rules correctly. He waited on a set of new customer's and made us wait some more. He came by again another 5 mins later and I asked if I could get a breakfast menu. He brought that menu back and said someone else would be with us soon. Waited yet again 10 mins and watched several customer's get helped. So I went in and asked to speak to the manager. Then I was told the mgr was too busy to talk to me. So I reviewed the situation with one of the other server's and how we were surprised and frustrated about what happened. Bottom line no one cared! This is amazing and disturbing at a place that has always been great in the past? Needless to say we will not be going back and will let everyone we know what we...

I stopped here while traveling to upstate NY. It’s not too far off the Mass Pike. Really cute town and this cafe is right on the “Main Street” with plenty of parking. They are open early. Unfortunately the place is small with limited indoor seating. We sat outside but because it was so early in the morning and given the higher elevation it was a bit cool for it. The was only one server at this time which made for hurried and limited service at the table.
That said, we did get everything we needed and the food was very good. They have lots of selection for gluten free food.
This is an appropriate place for families, retirees, singles, couples and seniors. The entire area is LGBTQ friendly! I think they could easily accommodate mobility needs. The prices were appropriate also. I’d...
Read moreAs someone who considers each visit to Stockbridge a special occasion, I am truly saddened and disappointed to be writing about my experience today. On Saturday, 10/14/17 a little past 1pm, I politely let the server (a woman with long dark hair) know I needed only a couple more minutes to look at the menu. Rather than returning to my table, the server turned to three separate tables all seated after me (a table of two and two tables of four). Took each person's drink order, served the drinks, wrote down the food orders for two of those tables, and entered those behind the counter - all the while ignoring my attempts to catch her gaze. By then as you can imagine, a significant length of time had gone by. I called out to the server as she began to ask the third table for their food orders, and was told quite rudely to wait. It was then that I chose to leave. I will not be back unless I receive confirmation that the prejudiced treatment that happens here has been noted...
