Hearken, gentle friend, and lend thine ear whilst I sing the praises of that most heavenly hall of confections, Sweet Stacyâs. A fairer house of sugar and delight neâer did mortal eyes behold. Within its humble walls, the very air is perfumed with the breath of candied wonders, and each table doth bear witness to the triumph of cream and cocoa oâer sorrow and care.
Sweet Stacy herself, methinks, is some enchantress sent from Olympus, weaving ambrosia into cakes and pastries with a hand both delicate and divine. Her confections are not mere morsels, nay, but love letters writ in frosting, poetry bound in velvet chocolate, and sonnets sung in the key of caramel. Each spoonful falleth upon the tongue like a midsummerâs dreamâsoft, fleeting, and most intoxicating.
And lo, the brownies!âdense and dark as midnightâs velvet cloak, yet crowned with a sweetness that rivaleth dawn. Their edges crisp as a noble heraldâs trumpet, their hearts soft and molten as passion newly sworn. Each bite summoneth forth a choir of delight, rich and harmonious, till the eater is lost in rapture. âTis no mere square of chocolate, but a kingdom entire, where cocoa reigns supreme and joy is subject to its throne.
Even the simplest cookie, under Stacyâs tender care, doth rise to noble stature, as if ordained by Heaven to comfort the weary soul.
If ever thou findest thy heart heavy, thy spirit burdenâd, hie thee straightway to Sweet Stacyâs. For in that blessed haven, sorrow is banishâd, and joy doth sit, smiling, upon every plate.
In sooth, I declare: Sweet Stacyâs is not a shop, but a sanctuary, where sugar becometh art, and art becometh solace. Would that all the world might taste and...
Read moreAmazing! That's the perfect word for Ms. Stacey's cakes. I'm a pescatarian/vegan- no dairy, eggs , cheese or ANY animal products (besides fish). If I don't make it myself, I'm sure to have some sort of allergic reaction or stomach discomfort with almost Any dessert that I purchase. 6 months New to Georgia, I've been on a search for vegan food and vegan desserts since I arrived. Internet searching, I happened upon "Sweet Stacey's ". This has been my BEST find yet! I ordered Strawberry on Strawberry cupcakes along with the Chocolate Turtle ones. They were Deeelicious! With each bite, I was in disbelief that they were actually vegan. When I didn't get sick at all (as I typically do), I knew I'd found "my" bakery! The strawberry cupcakes even had little surprise bits of strawberry in every bite. Yumm!!! Customer service was great too. No matter how good the cuisine, if the service isn't good, the whole establishment is "dead" to me.- never to return. Ms. Stacey really respects her craft and her business and its definitely reflected in her goods and in her customer service. She's gained a long-time customer in me. Do yourself a favor, Give her sweets a try and I'm certain you'll be singing...
Read moreLet me start by saying Iâm a VERY particular person. On of those âchocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chipsâ type of people. This was one of the best cookies I ever had. Perfect thickness, chewy in all the right place and literally the perfect balance of sweet and buttery, without being overwhelming. Itâs EVERYTHING that you want in a good cookie. And the cupcakes? As I said, Iâm picky about my sweet tooth and I get overwhelmed quickly, but the flavor profile is the perfect balance of sweetness. The icing marries well with the cake and does over power it. Itâs light and still full of flavor. Also, very moist. I came in at the end of the day, so I can only imagine what it would be like at the top of the day. The owner was kind and patient. The store was also very clean, and the display was neat and appealing. Iâll be back to try more flavors for sure! Itâs a little hidden gem thatâs more than...
