Best Sandwiches & Smoothies is EXCELLENT! While we have dined in many times, we prefer to place an order over the phone and pick it up To Go. Half of my family loves the BBQ Pork Bahn Mi Sandwiches. They’re the perfect size, not too huge or too small. The pork has a great flavor, the pickled veggies are crisp and flavorful, the bread is always fresh, and the spread they put on the sandwiches is so delicious. The Bahn Mi are wrapped in paper and tied with a rubber band, making it easy to eat half and save the rest for later. The other half of my family loves their croissant deli sandwiches. They mostly get Turkey or Ham, which is served on a very fresh croissant inside a styrofoam box with a pickle and a few pepperoncinis on the side. In addition to the sandwiches, they have tons of great boba drinks. Their Thai Iced Tea and Taro are my favorite. My twins love their Strawberry Banana Smoothie. You can ask for light boba, if that’s what you prefer like me. They have canned soda and bottled water, too. The restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. One thing to note is— they’re cash only, so be prepared. (Pro Tip: there is an ATM in the liquor store nearby.) Best Sandwiches is super affordable! You can get 4 sandwiches and 2 smoothies for less than $40– which is AWESOME these days. Also, I’ve seen that they do Bahn Mi Boxes now, which seems like a fun and unique thing to bring to a Pot Luck or treat your team to. We’ve been customers for years… and will continue...

Temporarily working close to this hidden gem. I got tired of hitting the fast food chain cycle for lunches. So I'd seen this sandwich shop on Google maps couple times and just scrolled on to the next greasy burger joint. Finally I was indecisive and said heck with it I'm just going in and trying them out. Now claiming "Best" is always a tall order when you put that right in your face! But they delivered one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time! Treated myself to a banana smoothie to go with it and let's just say I left very pleased with my lunch decision that day! I will definitely be back during my work stay in town here and just talked myself into lunch there...

I almost don't want to tell you about this banh mi spot...I am afraid they will get too busy...but, Here goes: the best banh mi in the 209 and I tried them all. The bread is perfectly heated, not toasted,to provide a taste full backdrop to the pickled crunchy vegetables and delicately flavored meat. And of course, you want the jalapeno. Once you have tried them all, pick one or two favorites and then you can call your order in for fast service. But try them all first - you don't want to miss out.
