As a local Stockton resident I really wanted to like this place and maybe they are still going through some growing pains but we unfortunately did not have the same experience here as the other reviewers. There were no adult employees working just three, what looked to be high school aged kids, and that is exactly how the food was prepared and served, as if a few kids threw some things together on a plate. We ordered tomato soup, broccoli cheddar soup, a large chicken Caesar sub, pickle fries and a cobb salad. Tomato soup was actually marinara sauce, not sure if they gave us the wrong thing but it definitely was not tomato soup. Broccoli cheddar soup was home made and was fine. Chicken Caesar sub had a few tiny pieces of chicken and some romaine, no dressing, tomatoes or parmesan cheese anywhere to be found. The cobb salad had a few shreds of egg, one sliver of avocado, a few tomato slices, one small bit of bacon and the rest was just romaine that was overdressed. The best part of the meal was the fried pickle spears which tasted great and the home made ranch dipping sauce was very tasty. All the ingredients were fresh but the execution and presentation was as if they dropped everything on the floor and just picked it up and put it on the plate. Disappointed but will give them another shot after they hopefully get things...
Read moreToday was my first time visiting the place! I only got the sweety treaty, but so worth it! Especially the brownie — if you love that gooey ooey, fudgy texture, you’re going to be obsessed. The cookie was a bit drier than I expected but still had a nice flavor.
The young man who took my order was super friendly and kind, even though the place was quite crowded — really appreciated the positive energy!
The only downside for me was the overall design of the space. Both the interior and exterior look quite outdated, and I feel like the current color choices don’t do the place justice. Honestly, it might put some people off from walking in, which is a real shame considering how good the food and service are.
This place definitely has potential — with just a little visual refresh, it could become a real local favorite!
Prices are VERY reasonable, and I’m definitely coming back for more sweet treaties and also some food...
Read moreA young entrepreneur named Kevin and his manager Joe have taken on this sweet little sandwich shop in Stockton. It is exactly what the town needed! Affordable, handmade, wonderful sandwiches that are not only so incredibly fair priced (!!!) but phenomenally delicious! My husband I ordered the chicken Parm Sub and loved it! I am back this morning to order breakfast sandwiches. With these Indian summer days and the perfect spot to refuel during your bike ride or stroll along the canal path, make it a point to stop by this new sweet little gem. It's on 29, just after the first curve coming out of Stockton, on the right. Definitely worth a destination drive to have some really really yummy Homemade goodness! Bypass the crazy expensive sandwiches in the Stockton market and come here, sit outside in the sunshine, and enjoy some fab food!! Open from 9-9 tues- Sat and 9-5 Sunday. Come asap, and add it to...
