The Boat Thai Soup was bland compared to other places. I had to mix in all the sauces on the side just to make it palatable. Most Boat Thai Soups I’ve had didn’t need that.

Two major disappointments: first, they charge 4% extra if you don’t pay cash, and second, the extra protein listed as $2 was charged at $3. It may be a small amount, but it feels deceptive.

Long review I ordered the Boat Thai Soup, and unlike other restaurants, the flavor was weak and watery. Normally, this dish is rich enough on its own, but here I had to add every sauce on the side just to get the taste right.

What really disappointed me were two things: If you don’t pay with cash, you’re charged an additional 4% whether you use debit or credit. This feels unreasonable for customers. The menu clearly stated extra protein for $2, but I was charged $3. It’s only a dollar more, but it comes across as dishonest and misleading.

Overall, the flavor was underwhelming and the business practices left a negative impression. I won’t...

I really wanted to love this place as I'm looking for a good Cambodian spot in town. Service was mediocre. The chicken curry was good but too much noodles. The beef laap was overcooked and dry. The chicken salad was bland. Another thing that made this review low is that they charge 4% of your total instead of a flat fee for your using your bank card. I didn't even realize that was the case until I was ready to pay. If you just want cash, put that out. I feel that your charging a "tip" since it's a percentage and that's not right. And I ordered multiple dishes to try out the place. This is a turn off for future visits. Also, put it ON your menu, not just the door. Not everyone looks at the glass door when they walk in. I hope that the food at least gets better if I go there again. I don't usually carry cash because I'm Asian and a lot of us are targeted now because of our reputation of...

A true diamond in the rough.

I never would have thought to try this place had it not been for a couple of coworkers who took me here for lunch one day. It's not near a lot of shops or an area that would see a lot of foot traffic. I will definitely be back to this little hole in the wall.

The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. Even though the restaurant isn't that large, it feels comfortable. The tables are spaced far enough apart that you don't feel like you need to shout over other tables to hear each other.

The staff was very friendly and thoughtful. They gave great recommendations for someone new to their establishment. We never felt that we were ignored or left wanting.

Beyond all of that, the food was fantastic and didn't break the bank. I'll be bringing more people to experience this gem so I can try more...

I’m continually looking for some of the best Cambodian restaurants from everywhere from Stockton to San Francisco and I have to say Lotus in Stockton was pretty delicious. Ngl, I always prefer my families cooking but I enjoy trying how others prepare Khmer food between the curries to the saich ko ang to all the noodle dishes, it’s always good to try different cooks. Where should I go next?

On our way home from SoCal, we stopped by Lotus Thai & Khmer Cuisines in Stockton for some Thai food...We ordered the Boat Noodles, Beef Larb (Medium Spicy & Extra Sour), Kapoon (Curry in their menu?🤷‍♂️), Fried chicken and 2 orders of sticky rice...The fried chicken was okay, had a different taste to what we are used to...The beef larb was good; just like how imagined it...the significance other liked the Kapoon (Curry)...the Boat Noodles was a little odd...tasted like the broth was made out of a full can of soy sauce...shouldn't it be pork blood broth?...We took a couple sip of the Boat Noodles and we tossed it...other than that, I think the Beef Larb & Kapoon (Curry) is worth the stop...
