This wonderful congregation hosts an Annual Greek Festival which attracts people from all faiths and many cities. The festival features AMAZING food prepared by their members (home-made Greek food and many pastries), and features Greek dancing, music; dozens of booths where high quality items are available for sale (many are homemade or handcrafted). My grandfather Angelo Metaxas was a member in the beginning before the original church was torn down to make way for the cross-town freeway (Hwy 4). I have been a member since I was born. The Greek Festival in my humble opinion is the best festival in Stockton and the surrounding areas (No offense to any of the other festivals out there intended).
