We was just there we was over looked as a dine in customer. They took a another person order that walked in after we have waited patiently. I kindly asked for the female waitress if she can take our order. She was rude and roll her eyes. And greeted the gentlemen beside us with a smile. That was weird....Then she returned with some else order and then I replied this was not our order. She raised her voice at us. I kindly asked her to make our order to go. I am not sure if there was a problem with racism. We was the only person of color in this place durning this time of service. We are seniors, and also retired disabled, Retired military veterans. I been coming to this shop for 3 years and I always order the same order so its easy to remember. I also asked for more lime and extra of the house oyster sauce and rooster sauce cuz the little package of sauces they give in the togo order is never enough. I send my husband to get the order for me since im studying for my midterm and he was told that he could not get more of the oyster sauce and rooster sauce. Mama's Pho offers staple Vietnamese dishes and noodles bowls at reasonable prices while not sacrificing the taste and experience of Vietnam. My personal favourite to get at the restaurant is the Bun Bo Hue (Hue spicy noodle bowl). The soup broth is clean, fragrant, and holds lots of depth and complexity of flavours; there are plentiful of meat toppings and garnishes.
