Halo Halo is like any other place you can get it, no Halaya, no Flan, just basic.
Came at 10 am and there were hardly any donuts left. The 5 customers that came after me walked out because of the poor selection. It's like the donuts that no one else wanted was left. No old fashioned, no fritters. Just cake sprinkles.
I'm comparing this place to Rolling Pin in San Bruno, Best Donuts and Coffee on Railroad Ave in Pittsburg, and the famous Donuts and Cinnamon in Rocklin which are top tier so I might be a little harsh.
There was nothing here that would keep me coming back. Maybe the $6 breakfast Croissants if I'm in the area, because it's so affordable. Although the Croissant is store bought (Costco) it's half the price of Andy's in Richmond. But Andy's makes everything fresh, no microwave to heat up the ingredients. Here they nuke it.

Read moreWe loved coming here all the time when we lived in the area. Our kids miss this place but most of all they miss the owner. She’s always so welcoming and friendly. She even remembers our daughter each time. We only moved about 20minutes away so we’ve came back a few times and she still always remembers our girl which makes her feel so special. The donuts are yummy and she always makes sure to throw a free donut in there. But we especially love the iced coffee which we always pair with a Croissant ham & Cheese sandwich (it’s my whole family’s favorite!)😋 Thank you always for making us...

The ladies who helped me was very nice. I believe one of the girl was new and was in training, but she did an awesome job. I was patiently waiting for her to make my halo halo since I never seen how it's made and plus the girl was nice enough to give me an extra shredded coconut donuts, my husband liked it ....
