Rocky's Supper Club — Restaurant in Stoddard

We know you have the "Market" for Supper Clubs in your area. Then act like it! DO BETTER! Service was slow. Someone needs to teach the staff to do a better job for waiting on people. No one had a sense of urgency. The old fashioned was terrible. We were the first, plus 2 people at 5:00 in the bar but we were first in the restaurant. It was like no one cared that we were going to spend money in your restaurant. Took too long to get our drink orders then took long to get them. We even had a reservation! People were served before us. Reminding you, that we, plus 2 people were in the bar as we were in the restaurant. Then, people started to come in the dining room, those people were acknowledged and were served and received their salads before us. It was a mess. When we finally got our food, my hashbrown was so burnt on the underside that you thought I wouldn't notice. I flipped it over and it was terrible. How and why would you send that out to someone to eat. I ordered my prime rib very rare. It was medium at best and it tasted like it was leftover and reheated. This was an absolute waste of a meal. Dont bother. The atmosphere was basically a drunken scream fest. Service was very slow. The cheese curds were extremely greasy, almost dripping. My wife got the breaded shrimp and it was not even close to cooked. The breading just fell off and the shrimp was partially cooked. I ordered the fish and the staff didn't enev know what the batter was. I hate beer batter. Truly confused and had to ask the kitchen staff. The waitress tried but I believe she was rattled too. We couldn't take it any more and asked for everything to go as we couldn't take the yelling and drunken screaming. The hostes didn't give it a second thought. Just walked around 'looking' like she was in charge. But she should have addressed the situation. How can ANY professional restaurant let this happen. There were others discussed with this place. Dinner at a Wisconsin Supper Club was on my list for my birthday. My best friend and I took a road trip from the Twin Cities to celebrate and Rocky’s was the place we went. What a fantastic evening we had! We were greeted and seated right away. We drove over 3 1/2 hours for dinner for my birthday and they made sure my evening was special. We kicked it off with a Wisconsin Old Fashioned and an appetizer with a variety of shrimp which was delicious. For dinner we both had prime rib (available Saturday nights) and I savored every bite as it was prepared perfectly. For dessert, I ordered a grasshopper and it was brought out with a lighted candle and everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday to me. We did not want the night to end. Cynda was our waitress and she was amazing as she made sure everything was to our expectations and she exceeded mine.
