Dunkin' — Restaurant in Stonington

I come here every morning for coffee on my way to work. I’ve had a few issues that I let slide but this morning I decided to complain. Last month I went inside and ordered a dozen donuts, there was no one ahead of me. Simultaneously two more customers came in behind me. As this woman, who I assume is the manager because she seems to direct everyone, opens up the donut box she rushes me and looks at me like I am taking years to tell her what donuts I want. She made me so uncomfortable that when I walked out of there I thought to myself I should have told her- I am paying for this and these people just walked in they can wait a second. Not even a ER rushes people like that, this is a fast food place. Today they got my drive thru order wrong and since the line was long I pulled back in to the lot and walked inside. When this same woman saw my bag in my hand she had a smirk on her face and raised eyebrows. I simply explained I asked for no cheese but it had cheese and no egg on my sandwich.. she took the bag from me without a word and told someone else to remake it. Not a single, I’m sorry, I’m sorry you had to come in after the drive thru- nothing. This woman needs to be re-trained in customer service. I go here pretty often and the employees are very sweet and hard working and I almost never get my order incorrect. I don’t know if they got a new manager or if he has just been at the window more often lately and I hadn’t met him before, but he is beyond rude every time I go. I had lost my wallet and only had a large bill this morning and instead of just politely saying he couldn’t accept it, he said “yeah, no, I’m not taking that.” I explained it was all I had and apologized and said I would need to leave my food if that was the case and he rolled his eyes at me. I don’t usually leave reviews, but my friends and I were stopping here for the bathroom before heading home, so we decided to get some drinks for the ride too. I have a very hard time with Dunkin because there isn’t much options for people with dairy allergies. I usually have to return my drink or end up not drinking it because they don’t pay attention to the right kind of milk. There were only two staff working when we were there, and the girl who rang us up was very attentive and kind. She even asked if the amount of coconut milk was okay or if there needed to be more/less. I was a little weary of how it would taste but it ended up being really good!!
